Parents, even they are estranged, would always want the best for their children and would do their best to protect the kids from unwanted harm, whether physical or verbal. Moreover, parents will do what they could to fight for the reputation of their children, if needed.
When Inquisitive Father (IF) was informed of the stories about His Child (HC), he sought to investigate where the story was coming from. Allegedly, HC’s Reel Partner (RP) started to kiss and tell about his escapades with HC. In a gathering of friends, RP shared how easy HC would give in to his demands for intimacy. Even in his car, HC would be willing to give him a head while driving. HC is head over heels in love with RP, which has made her give her all to RP. One of those who heard how RP would brag about conquering HC emotionally and physically informed IF.
IF then contacted his Former Wife (FW) about what he learned. Instead of gaining sympathy, FW reprimanded IF and called him a gossiper. Then, the issue of him being an irresponsible was brought into the conversation. IF hit a wall.
FW, meanwhile, was careful about confronting RP, as any negative attitude toward him might affect the career of HC. Although HC is building a strong foundation for her career, FW still fears for the day when the novelty of her reel partnership with RP wears off. These days, fans tend to stop supporting either partner when a love team is dissolved. The consequences of HC not having a hit project could affect her financial standing, something that FW cannot risk.
IF reached out to RP, who asked what the call was about. When RP learned that IF wanted to talk to him about HC, he shunned and refused to communicate. From that moment onwards, RP kept his distance and instructed his team not to entertain IF. As much as possible, IF should be avoided.
Things are not yet over. RP then told HC about IF. HC then contacted IF and told him to leave them alone. With HC telling her piece, IF could only do so much as her dad.

Calvin Abueva of the Phoenix Fuel Masters was indefinitely suspended by PBA Commissioner Willie Marcial and was fined P70,000.00 (P20,000.00 for engaging with a fan in a verbal altercation and for making obscene gestures, and P50,000.00 for a F2 against Terrence Jones). Abueva figured prominently in the last two games of the Fuel Masters, but on the negative side.
During the game against the Blackwater Elite last Friday, Abueva was involved in a verbal altercation with a female fan who was later identified as the girlfriend of Bobby Ray Parks of the Blackwater Elite. He was also seen on video making obscene gestures towards the female fan and her companions.
In the game against the TNT Katropa last Sunday, Abueva was called for a technical foul during the first quarter for a 2nd motion against Anthony Semerad. He was later thrown out of the game for a F2 foul after delivering a clothesline on import Terrence Jones.
The F2 foul was obviously a retaliatory act because a few seconds earlier, on the previous play, Abueva was hit in his private part by Terrence Jones which the referee failed to call.
Before the F2 was called, Abueva even asked the officials to watch his next move. When he was thrown out, he seemed to enjoy his predicament as he danced on top of the officials' table, as well as flashing the 'middle finger'.
Commissioner Marcial said that he had to impose the penalty of indefinite suspension to instill discipline and maintain professionalism in the league. He said that he can no longer allow Abueva to continue with his offensive and obnoxious on-court behavior against the fans and his fellow players, which the fiery player is known for. Fans go to the playing venues to enjoy the games, not to be insulted or disrespected. The welfare of the fans is of utmost importance to the PBA and he will not hesitate to impose heavy penalties on those who breach this rule, especially against women. He also said that while some level of physicality is allowed during the games, violent behavior or unsportsmanlike conduct have no place in the PBA.
The Commissioner said that the indefinite suspension of Abueva should serve as a stern warning for him and other players to act as professional athletes and that unbecoming conduct or any act or statement that is prejudicial or detrimental to the PBA will be severely punished. If the players have any complaints about fan behavior during the games, they can always bring it to the attention of the Office of the Commissioner who can warn the fans or even send them out of the venue.
At the same time, Phoenix Fuel Masters Head Coach Louie Alas was suspended for (2) games and was fined P40,000 (P20,000 for his Flagrant Misconduct for physically contacting TNT's David Semerad, and P20,000 for issuing statements detrimental to the league).
Phoenix's Rob Dozier and Jason Perkins were fined P1,000 each for their technical foul for 2nd motion and verbal altercation, respectively.
Likewise, TNT's Anthony and David Semerad were fined P20,000 each for their involvement in the scuffle while Jason Castro was fined P1,000 for engaging in a verbal altercation. TNT import Terrence Jones meanwhile was fined P70,000 ( P50,000 for hitting Calvin Abueva in his private area, and P20,000 for physically contacting an official, while TNT Assistant Team Manager Miguel Fernandez was fined P10,000 for approaching the Technical Table.
The referee, Bing Oliva, who missed to call a foul on Terrence Jones was suspended for (10) ten playing game days.

Big Jolting Mistake (Part 2)

After the physical confrontation of Young Actress (YA) and Her Boyfriend (HB) over alleged cheating issues, the source of the gossip was eventually uncovered. No other than Tattletale Colleague (TC) was the one who told HB about seeing YA stepping out of a private room in a gym with Hunky Actor (HA).
What infuriated HB was that YA was seen with HA after the completion of their project. Hence, HB could not stop thinking of what could YA and HA could have done in private. After all, HA is one of the most sought-after and irresistible boys in the industry and is known for his womanizing past and intense libido.
TC came by the story after a Close Friend (CF) told her. CF allegedly saw YA come out of the room with HA. TC came to the assumption that something could have happened because CF has allegedly encounters with HA in the little private room. Adding one plus one, TC came to the conclusion that what HA does to CF was done to YA.
As sources would eventually be revealed, YA found out that TC was indeed the one who fed HB the information. YA immediately confronted TC, the same person who told her about HB in a fine dining restaurant with another female. After their confrontation, YA and TC are no longer talking to each other.
Meanwhile, management found out about the confrontation of YA and HB. Each was instructed to fix their relationship, as any news about their breakup would lead to negative publicity. Consequently, their projects would be affected. Moreover, the two were reminded that their last project performed below expectations. With a forthcoming project, any breakup news would definitely affect the performance. Thus, if they cannot mend what is broken, they should pretend everything is fine and deny any news of their breakup. They have to show sweetness during the promotions and assure their fans that everything is fine. If their next assignment flops, the possible consequence is a frozen career, something the two of them cannot afford.
Adding color to the picture is that TC is in their project as well. As to the intention of why TC could not keep her mouth shut on knowledge that could affect YA and HB is unknown, unless people make the connection that sometime ago, she had a kindred relationship with HB.

Big Jolting Mistake (Part 1)

As the saying goes, ‘Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned’, but in this case, the situation has changed, ‘Hell hath no fury like a man scorned’. When little things pile up and when a nerve is touched, expect fireworks to ensue and hurts to be exchanged until the inevitable decision is made. When Young Actress (YA) and Her Boyfriend (HB) confronted each other over a surprising issue, their world changed.
Over the past months, YA has been upset that HB has not been giving her much attention and would not answer her calls that often. While YA has accepted that HB spends much time on games, she did not expect that she would compete with his playing time. Hence, YA would call his attention on spending too much of his time playing online.
One time, YA was calling HB and he answered. He said he was with his family at an event. So, YA understood and was calm, as HB assured her that he was honoring a family commitment. After a while, Tattletale Colleague (TC) called up YA, who was at home, and told her she saw HB in a restaurant with Another Female (AF). TC said she thought HB was with YA, but she was wrong.
Predictably, YA confronted HB the next day. HB insisted that AF was a high school classmate and they were just catching up. Of course, YA stressed that HB lied to her about being with family, when all the while, he was with AF. Moreover, YA insisted that, as his girlfriend, he should have informed her. Besides, if they were only catching up, YA questioned why he was with AF in a fine dining restaurant.
YA continued yakking until HB flared up. He then burst into saying that he did not at all bother to ask her why she was seen coming out of a room in a gym with Hunky Actor (HA). YA was shocked, as she did not see anyone familiar having seen her with HA in the said area. Tables have been turned, as this time, HB could not stop his mouth until bam! YA allegedly slapped HB hard. When YA spoke again, she asked HB who told him. HB said his source was not important or so it seems…. To be continued…
