The discussion and the ill-feelings were inevitable, as Male Partner (MP) did not agree to the condition set by Indignant Female (IF). MP and IF were chosen by a well-known company to represent their product in a commercial. Given the short worktime, money was going to be quickly earned, as the fee would be given after the shoot. Allegedly, the fee was a hefty sum, which could more or less buy a decent, top of the line SUV.
During the pre-production meeting, IF insisted on bringing her own glam team to fix her up for the shoot. However, the Production Team (PT) said that such is unnecessary, as they have already a team assigned for the endorsers. Besides, PT has already considered the budget for their team. IF was adamant and told PT that she does not entrust her makeup and glamour to just anyone, it has to be her team. PT stood its ground and refused IF’s request.
IF called her management and told the heads of the seeming misunderstanding. Her management stepped in and after negotiations, IF was dropped from the endorsement. Meanwhile, MP was told that the concept could go on with just him and PT would just find a replacement. Between the quick fee and IF’s whim, MP had to consider that he does not have any show in the past few months and he also has his family depending on him. In addition, movie projects pay only after the theater run, but this project was immediate payment. MP agreed to do the shoot.
This decision of MP did not sit well with IF given that they are a partnership and that one’s decision should be for the other to show that everything is okay. IF was infuriated that PT did not buy into her However, MP, unlike IF has many responsibilities and a lifestyle to keep. Risking IF’s wrath, MP chose to having a full stomach over pride.
Incidentally, the alleged replacement of IF is Competent Actress (CA), who is known for her dedication to work and loyalty to her network. CA and MP have no romantic link with each other, which should pacify IF and CA happens to be much in love with her current partner.

When Gifted Performer (GP) started to receive feelers from Network Talent (NT), GP thought many times before entertaining any intentions from NT. Everybody wants to be friends with NT and GP knows that. After all, NT is influential, hardworking, and has a reputation. Hence, GP is aware of how much his stock can go up if he becomes friends with NT.
Over the years, GP has developed from a timid performer to someone who has gained respect for perseverance and talent. Not only has GP gained success in the local scene, he has also managed to go international with his concerts and other performances. Talent is not something that GP lacks. He is also among the celebrities who are allegedly bestowed with great abilities in private. Be it on and off cam, GP is the man.
However, GP has also matured in the industry. For every action he has done, he has learned his lessons and the ways to become a player in the entertainment industry. For example, not all personalities are whom they project in front of the camera and it is not for other celebrities to reveal such truth.
Thus, GP is aware of the reputation of NT, which is the reason he had second thoughts on becoming close with NT. Although both work professionally, GP is not comfortable with the idea of having any other relationship than that with NT. What GP feared is in case fans might get an idea of their closeness and start making comments. GP would rather have a quiet career, without waking up to uncalled for comments. Besides, he also does not want to create any issue that could affect his relationship with his management. According to rumors, GP would rather prefer one who has a quiet career as well in case he will pursue any relationship with someone in the workplace. Thus, as much as he could, he would rather stay far from NT.
