Rejection Confirms Nasty Rumors

Whenever celebrities visit public places, one thing they should be concerned with is the possibility of being approached by people for a selfie, small talk, or even autographs. Imagine how pathetic it would be if no one recognizes a celebrity or dare even to smile at him or her. However, Uninterested Actress (UA) and Good-looking Partner (GP) seem to have forgotten that with popularity comes responsibility and amiable treatment of fans.
Sometime ago, UA and GP arrived at a popular destination south of the city. As a premiere tourist destination, most guests do not really mind the presence of other visitors, as they are in the resort for sun, surf, and fun. However, UA and GP entered the premises with an aura that called out to their presence. Most people did not mind the couple, but A Fan (AF) probably could not help herself and was gutsy enough to approach the two.
As AF reached the area were UA and GP were seated, she politely asked for a photo with the couple. That request would not even take more than a minute and would even make good PR for the couple. To the surprise of onlookers, AF was shooed like a fly by the two and such gesture was not taken well by witnesses. Thus, disappointment overcame those who saw the response of UA and GP and others were overwhelmed at the realization that they had verified what rumors have been saying all along about the rude attitude of the two.
Incidentally, although such rudeness coming from the two popular celebrities is not surprising, the two seemed to have forgotten that their behavior could cost them fewer fans, which is something they cannot afford these days. A reality check is that the two would need as much support as they could gain given that their past projects have not really been as successful as their earlier ones.

Keeping Options

When Restless Talent (RT) was starting out, he was among the lucky ones to have been given a break and even paired with Pretty Female (PF). Young as they were then, RT and PF had amassed followers and they even took their reel partnership into something real. However, both often denied they were a couple until the day they said they were no longer together. As fans were disappointed, the following of RT and PF started to dwindle. While both continued to pursue their careers, PF moved on and explored other career options.
Left alone, RT was at the mercy of the management for projects. The competition is always tough as the length of stay in a network can sometimes not be to the advantage of a talent. In the case of RT, he feels that he is not being given enough breaks to explore. Unlike his contemporaries who have done solo projects, regardless of box office results, RT continued to play second lead.
Hence, sensing that he might not find the growth he desires for his career, RT has been sending feelers to a station where he once belonged. He apparently has grown tired of playing cute roles and predictable characters. Moreover, he has no been given a role that could be considered as major lately.
Even if RT tries his best to convince management of his capability as an actor, he has a huge barrier to overcome. At this point, management is prioritizing the career of Network Star (NS), which makes RT and his colleagues receive lesser attention from the higher bosses. Ironically, NS and RT started at the same time and NS was hardly noticed then. Attention was given to RT at that time. Later on, NS was already thinking of quitting but things turned around. His timing was perfect and breaks followed. Thus, NS has become brighter than RT.
With NS as priority, RT is aware that his dream to grow as an actor might not see the light in his station, which is why he is in a hurry to explore other opportunities. After all, the season for transferring seems to be in the air. Will RT be the next talent to jump over the fence?
