Just Don’t Push Your Luck
LP, as it turns out, is a good friend of RS. Luckily, RS was not out of town, and LP was able to set up a meeting with his friend. The meeting finally came and the two friends casually talked and renewed their friendship. The conversation was turning out like for old time’s sake. However, LP was wrong in that aspect.
When the seemed right, LP broached the idea of inviting RS to a show he was staging out of town. Then, he asked RS if he could be gracious enough to be one of the guests. RS started to ask the usual questions, such as the date, place, and time. LP answered each question with a straight face, as he was not one of those feared producers who often shortchange performers or not keep up with the agreement.
As their conversation was slowly turning into a negotiation, RS inquired about accommodations and the specific hotel. Then, he asked about the transportation, as he did not want to spend hours in a van. RS was so persistent on the details of the trip. Of course, LP knew that he had to please RS, but he was working within a budget as well. Besides, the cost would also have to be shouldered by the provincial counterpart.
Finally, the matter of talent fees came up. LP was shocked at the response of RS, who quoted a figure that raised his eyebrows. RS said that he has given him a discounted rate, as they are friends. Still, the six-figure amount RS quoted was too much for someone who hardly is seen on any form of media these days. Besides, RS is really just on the edge of his almost vanishing career, even if the networks seem to be trying to sign him up.

Not Getting Equal Treatment
As MA is among the busy talents of a network and unlike other celebrities, her rest period between projects is merely a season or even shorter. If she is not acting in a series, she would have guestings in various shows or she would be in modeling gigs. Hence, she has quite a number of fans that follow her projects and her social media accounts.
Although MA might not be among the regular movie box-office drawing celebrity on her own, the network considers her among its important talents. After all, her projects on TV would turn into surprise hits. Moreover, her lovelife, which she thought she could keep private, was among the most followed while she was still with her former boyfriend.
The exposure of MA in various media has resulted in her being recognizable. While lining up, she did not succumb to disguises to hide from fans. Instead, she looked like her usual self. As she waited in line, an OW approached her and requested if they could have a selfie. MA agreed to the selfie, but when the OW saw the photo, she asked if she could have another shot. MA disagreed and said the photo was already fine. The OW only asked for a reshot because MA was not smiling and was looking away from the camera. The poor worker had to step away, as MA was showing irritation.
After a few minutes, a group of tourists started making noise, as they recognized MA. The tourists said that they knew MA as the actress in a movie that was shot somewhere down south. The tourists then started to fuss over her. Soon, they started posing with MA, who was now smiling fully and granting every selfie request. She was even engaging with them in small talk.
When the OW group saw the change in MA, they felt disappointed and discriminated. It seems that MA preferred tourists to hardworking people. When the team of MA saw that the OW group was looking at MA, they could hardly return the look, as they realized that MA did not treat them well.

Solving Her Issue
Nonetheless, fate can be rewarding and TP got her wish, as she and MD became very close to each other. MD continued with his own job, but gave TP the attention she thought she would not receive from him at all. Then, one time, the attention became too much.
While in the midst of enjoying his life, MD was shocked when TP told him that he was going to be a father soon. At first, MD thought the news was just to tease him, but when he saw the seriousness in the face of TP, he kept quiet. After a few minutes, he told TP the truth that he was not yet ready to man-up to the responsibilities of fatherhood. Typical of certain males, he told MD that she ought to do something. This response saddened TP, as she has been under too much pressure in her career at that moment.
With melancholy settling in her as a result of MD’s reaction, TP realized that she might lose MD if she pretends she did not understand what MD implied. While she was seemed entrapped, MD was out with his friends, as he also did not know what to do.
The decision was very difficult for TP, but much was at stake. Thus, after that moment, she had to skip work for some time, as her body needed to recuperate. Many excuses were given just to assure the audience TP was going to be fine.
With her solution falling in place, TP knew that MD would not leave her. Despite her monumental decision, TP behaved normally, like nothing happened. Life goes on, as she awaits her next project.
