Popular love team Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla have reiterated their stand against cyberbullying.
Speaking to ABS-CBN News at the red carpet event of the 2017 Star Magic Ball on Saturday, both stars maintained that online bashing needs to stop because it does not do any good to anyone.

“Siguro 'yung mga tao na kung ano-ano nasasabi online, sana maiwasan. Kasi hindi nila alam 'yung epekto noon sa ibang tao. Hindi siya maganda. Sana 'yun ang ma-promote natin dito especially sa Philippines,” Bernardo said.
Padilla, for his part, acknowledged the advantage of the internet but stressed that it should not be a vehicle to spreading negative vibes.
“Huwag tayong mag-spread ng bad vibes na balita sa internet and huwag tayo nang ba-bad vibes ng taong hindi natin kilala. And be careful kasi baka 'yung iba, mga nanggagamit lang. May mga ganun eh, na mga nagpapanggap. So be careful baka maging biktima tayo,” he said.
Bernardo and Padilla’s statements came amid heavy online bashing against Angel Locsin, who recently joined them again in the top-rating show “La Luna Sangre.”
While many viewers cheered Locsin’s "La Luna Sangre" comeback, there were also those who questioned her return.
However, Star Creatives' creative head Henry Quitain previously clarified that Locsin's new character Jacintha Magsaysay was not just recently added to the show.
"Hindi siya guest ng show; she's a main character of the show. Ginawa ang kuwento na kasama siya. Kasama ang pagbabalik niya siya show. Ang 'La Luna' po ay kuwento ng lahat," Quitain stressed.
Locsin also downplayed speculations that she is competing with lead stars Bernardo and Padilla.
"Huwag po kayong mag-alala: ito po ay show ni Kathryn at Daniel. Kung anuman po ang mangyayari dito at mga bagong nagaganap ay para sa kanila. Lahat po tayo ay nagtutulungan at wala pong kompetensiya dito," Locsin said.

Just Biased
Every year, the female talents of a network all prepare meticulously for the big day. The search for a designer is the first thing in mind, as their look for the occasion should assure their place among the best dressed, not worst dressed. Hence, depending on how much one would want to shine, no expense should be left unturned.
Thus, the team of SA had everything planned out. One of the best designers was assigned to create her outfit for the event. Even how she was invited by a Young Celebrity (YC) was staged and was captured on video to delight fans. No doubt, SA was going to be beautiful that night.
Everything was turning out perfectly. The dress suited her, which meant the look was appropriate for her age. She wore the dress like royalty and everyone who saw her enter the venue warmed up. SA started walking with YC in tow. They walked slowly and lined up for their turn. SA was not at all hurrying up, as those in the latter part of the line could be considered important. In other words, the latter one is in the line, the more important he or she is to the network.
Then, someone told SA and YC to walk faster and overtake Newbie Talent (NT) and Her Partner (HP). SA and YC, who happen to be more senior than NT and HP, could not argue. However, SA was already thinking that being made to walk ahead gives the impression that NT and HP are more important than they are. Considering that her movies are certified box office hits compared to NT and HP, SA could not believe why she was given such instructions. The moment started to irritate SA. Lucky for the crew, no one was around to defend SA, or else, there would have been fuss at the order of walking. For some, the walk may be trivial, but for people who know the implications of order, such as billing in movies, SA has every reason to be irritated.
