At the rate Rigid Manager (RM) is handling the career of Hot Hunk (HH), HH might not at all have the exposure he needs to maintain the interest of the public in his career. When HH transferred to his new station, he immediately gained more followers due to the unexpected role he played in a breakthrough series. After that project, HH has appeared in a few movies and several network shows. However, his movies and shows did not generate the success that his earlier series made.
Now, while in between major projects for his network, HH was offered to play an important role in a drama with one of the network’s Prized Actresses (PA). On the taping day, RM found out that the character of HH would be supporting the role of PA. In other words, the story centers more on PA and not on HH although there is a love angle between their characters. Consequently, PA will have more exposure and lines than HH. Immediately, RM pulled out HH. The production went crazy, as having a replacement actor at such short notice seemed impossible.
Naturally, the taping was packed up, as the production had to find another actor. Luckily, the network has understanding and competent actors and manager. The second choice actor was kind enough to take the role, and the next taping day went smoothly.
RM has been known to handle strictly his talents and this incident with HH is not at all surprising. However, the longer that HH is away from the eyes of the public, interest in him might slowly diminish. Will RM eventually have a bigger project for HH? HH has been away from tv shows and movies for several months, which in showbiz, can change the career path of any actor.
