He Won’t Get Much Anymore

Showbiz aka show business explains itself – its general purpose is to provide entertainment to the public. It exists to make money and the stars are its commodities. Movie production and television networks hire and contract the services of stars who they deem will give them good business or profit. These capitalists are always on their toes to keep up with the public expectation - their fastidious and critical market that they need to entertain.
Thus, an actress and actor worth his salt know too well that they must strive to be the best that they can be and to be interesting enough to gain continuing patronage from their audience. Other veteran stars get out of their comfort zones and reinvent themselves so as not to be left out and to stay relevant in their very competitive world. But not all stars think alike.
Once Hot Actor HA will now be in hot water once His Network makes good its word to drop him from its roster. ‘Here and there’ HA has recently gone through evaluation by HN and the results yielded that he is no longer bankable. HN initially bet on him by fielding him on some projects, but unfortunately, his last two (2) series hardly made the mark, it was to HN a big disappointment.
Some insiders remarked that HA’s image and talent did not level up to the competition for too long, thus he has become stagnant - a lackluster persona. On the other hand, the opposite happened to HA’s Significant Other who is on an upward streak having concluded a successful series. And for that, SO is moving to another series soon.
Observers quipped that what happened to HA is quite ironic. Wasn’t he at the top of his game not too long ago, until SO came into his life that started his career spiraling downwards. Will HA ever regain his lost career? Will his charisma do him wonders? Your guess is as good as mine.

Insensitive But True
Looking for something more challenging and security for her career, Pretty Actress (PA) decided to make the move to the other network (ON) without much fanfare or any loud rumors prior to her transfer. It was not as if PA was caught in a tug-o-war, as her previous show (PS) did not at all bother to make her decision difficult. She was let go, as simple as that.
Whenever ON has a new talent, especially transferees from the rival station, it makes sure that he/she feels at home. Of course, the opposite is true when ON’s talents leave, as all the secrets will suddenly emerge in entertainment columns and criticisms will surprisingly be unleashed. So far, PA has not yet received any major backlash from PS, making the public feel PA was not worth holding on to anyway.
The usual ON welcome begins with appearances in the flagship shows for the usual interviews on how the talent feels about bashers and the typical comments on being ungrateful. Then, the publicity on the new shows will start. In the case of PA, she was scheduled to appear in a live interview, and naturally, she was prepped up for the show.
As PA sat on the chair, the production staff busily highlighted her looks and did their best to make her beautiful, which did not take too much effort. So, one of the team members (TM) asked PA who will be conducting the interview. PA candidly answered, “Oh, I think it will be Host A, Host B, and that baduy Host C.” The response was flabbergasting! TM was unable to reply as PA unleashed her comment. It did not occur to PA that she was not alone in the room, and that several people actually heard her.
Then, TM chuckled and said, “Baduy, talaga ha.” PA was just beginning. Her next comment stated a half-truth that no one dares state. PA said, “Ah, really, there are a lot of baduy people here. Host C is a classic example. You can add Actress D, too.” TM and the other eavesdroppers were afraid – very afraid for PA that she has yet to warm up in the station, and she’s unleashing her comments against the prime talents of ON. She might have also inherited her tactlessness from a close relative, who always makes controversial statements during the rare times she actually is interviewed.
In the next weeks, who knows if ON will play up PA’s other comments, such as her excitement over the numerous leading men in ON and her preference to work with Leading Man (LM) who is committed to Feisty Actress (FA). As to the identity of Actress D, she and FA have something in common in LM, whereby one is reel and the other real.

Daniel Matsunaga is now a permanent resident of the Philippines.
The “Pinoy Big Brother All In” big winner made the announcement on “KrisTV” on Monday, noting that all his documents have already been filed and he is now legally a permanent Philippine resident.
Matsunaga added that his sister, model Vanessa, is also fixing her own papers to become a Filipino resident. Vanessa has been married to a Filipino for four years now.
In a past interview, Matsunaga said his family has decided to move to the country after he won the hit ABS-CBN reality show.
"I'm planning to bring my whole family here. I want to stay here for the rest of my life," Matsunaga, who has been staying in the Philippines for five years, said at the time. "I'm just waiting for my father to retire from his job. He said maybe after two years."
Matsunaga’s father, who is based in Brazil, will retire from his job in less than two years.
As for his brother, Matsunaga said they are thinking to just send him to a school here in the Philippines. Matsunaga’s brother, who is also in Brazil, is currently taking up architecture.
Born to a Japanese father and a Brazilian mother, Matsunaga said he considers himself a "true Filipino," having identified with the culture in the country.
Following the approval of his permanent residency in the country, Matsunaga said he is petitioning next to become a naturalized Filipino.
