At least seven marshals of the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City are being investigated after they were caught on video apparently manhandling, handcuffing and beating up two British men.

The video, uploaded by YouTube user ghelo bytes, was taken around 5:27 p.m. on Saturday at the corner of 5th and 30th avenues. It went viral with over 148,000 views as of press time.

The marshals' mandhandling of the two British men drew criticism from netizens, who accused the guards of illegally arresting the foreigners, with some saying they acted like cops when they did not have the right to do so.

The BGC management said in a statement on Monday that a "full investigation" has been conducted against the involved marshals.

"We have reviewed the video and it indicated that certain members of our security personnel resorted to inappropriate behavior and we are conducting a full investigation of this incident," the BGC management said.

The development firm said that before the foreigners' "apprehension" was caught on camera, they "hit and hurt" a lady marshal for reproaching them over skateboarding along the road.

A male marshal who responded to the scene to back up the female guard was allegedly punched by one of the British men, identified in television reports as Sam Reynolds and Christopher Edwards.

BGC said formal charges have been filed against Reynolds and Edwards.

As always, there are two sides to any story.

From the outset, it would seem that the much-publicized rift of ex-lovers had it that it was all the Guy GU’s fault why they split up. What the public doesn't know is that no one is blameless between GU and the Girl GI as both had committed lapses in judgment. The only difference perhaps is that one has graver sins over the other.

From a very reliable source, this was what transpired in his shocking revelation:

Close to two (2) months before GI and GU called it quits, GI met Handsome Personality HP at a party. HP and GI were with each’s respective friends in tow. HP was smitten by GI the moment he saw her. As the party progressed, HP and GI were introduced to each other. HP reportedly instantly had a liking towards GI when he saw her. The source confirmed that it’s HP’s weakness to easily fall for beautiful woman.

Soon, GI and HP's friends decided to merge to make the games more fun and lively. Part of the party game was kissing in the dark room without knowing whom you were kissing. At that time, GI was having much fun and got so drunk. GI’s friends saw how happy she was again, smiling and laughing when HP was talking to her, and so they thought of having the two as partners in the kissing game, without the two knowing.

When the game started, HP knew it was GI he was kissing, but GI being so drunk didn’t know a thing. Thus she kept asking her friends loudly, “Gwapo ba yun?” To which her friends replied, “ Gwapong gwapo!”

After the party, HP reportedly brought GI home and … they had sex. HP stayed till next morning, and GI told him that what happened between them was just a one-night thing, nothing serious. The source remarked that they were sexually attracted to each other so much to the extent that they did it many times before they even got to know each other! And true enough, the two became a couple eventually.

Since then, GI was regularly seen going to HP's condo unit and would be staying there for hours. Since HP lived alone, they would be free to do everything each time.

All of these were happening under the nose of GU who was still then committed to GI.

To sum it up, was GU’s indiscretion really the cause why GI broke up with him? Or was the break up just a convenient excuse for GI to dump him in favor of HP? If that were so, doesn’t it appear that she was not only rejecting GU, but she was also protecting herself?
