Spotted Making Out in Greenbelt

Last night, some friends and I had dinner in Milky Way Pasay Road. If you have not tried its sinful lechon kawali, I suggest you do so, it is simply the best. After dinner, we walked to Greenbelt for desserts. The area was very busy since it was a payday Friday. We ended up in one of the restaurants in Greenbelt 3.

We always enjoy the view of people passing by the restaurant so we decided to sit outside. While enjoying the mango and strawberry pavlova, one of my friends noticed a hot hunk wearing a white shirt seated beside his date in the corner near the wash rooms. He got even more excited and called our attention when he noticed that the hot hunk was making out with his date. Since he had a better view, he was the one reporting to us that they were doing. They were passionately kissing each other and yes, we had to take turns to witness their long playing public display of affection.

On my way to the washroom, I had to go inside the restaurant. When I passed by their table, I was so shocked when I recognized the girl. I rushed back to our table to tell my friends that the girl is a television personality. They did not believe me and insisted that the girl and the television personality just look alike. We were arguing about it for a while so I had to ask one of the waiters. He confirmed to us that the girl seated inside is indeed the television personality.

I did not know that she already ended her long term relationship with her boyfriend who is also a television personality. I thought the two were getting married soon. I even remember seeing them shopping together in Hong Kong's Pacific Place Mall a couple of years ago.

Power Girl: A Girl Who Loves Men with Power?

According to Dictionary.com, a modelizer is a person who is obsessed with and attempts to date only models. How about a girl who attempts to date only the sons of the politicians? What do we call her?

After being separated for months, this actress and her husband who is a son of a politician finally broke their silence and confirmed that their marriage was in rocky territory. The alleged reason for their separation was domestic violence but the husband has denied it repeatedly. Anyway, this story has no intention to delve into the reason of their separation since some of you might not even be interested. What you might be interested to know is that this newly separated actress is rumored to be dating the son of another politician. It is not clear whether they are already committed to each other or not, but they have been seeing each other on a regular basis.

In 2009, R&B singer Chris Brown was charged with a domestic violence case involving his girlfriend, Rihanna. Do you know that Chris Brown has a counterpart here in the Philippines?

Many people are asking why this actress finally separated from her actor boyfriend after more than a year of being together. TV5 Show Awaits Sarah's Big Move

Sarah Geronimo has been denying all rumors regarding her transfer from ABS-CBN to TV5 for the past months. It seems like she can longer deny it now because TV5 is already preparing a show in anticipation of her big move. According to a reliable source, the offer was just too huge for her not to accept it. I would like to apologize to those who were upset when I posted the The Philippines is Not Fashion Forward? remix video. My intention was just to hear your opinions regarding the issue. I posted the remix version instead of the original just to spice it up a bit. I had no intentions of mocking or bullying her.

I just got back from Bangkok this morning and I am feeling very tired. I always feel down after every trip and this issue is making me feel worse. I am seriously thinking if I should still continue writing or not. Have a good Sunday!

Cut and Paste

Do you agree that sketching is one of the basic skills that a fashion designer must possess? A designer's sketches is his/her way of communicating his/her ideas to the clients. Without these sketches, a client will not be able to visualize what is the mind of a designer.

This female fashion designer does not know how to sketch on the spot for her clients. She would always ask one of her friends to prepare the sketches for her before she meets up with her clients. For her ready to wear line, she logs on the internet to browse the styles that she likes. She cuts the sleeves from one design and the silhouette from another and pastes them together. That is how she designs the pieces you see in her boutique.

One way or the other, she knew she had to learn how to sketch so she finally decided to hire an illustrator to tutor her. During their first session, she was very impatient. She instructed her tutor to skip the lessons on how to draw the basic shapes. She wants him to teach her the advanced skills that are beyond her capacity. After the first meeting, she informed him that she was no longer interested to continue with the lessons. It was such a pity that she had an opportunity to better herself but she just gave up too easily.

Do you know who is this female designer? Her boutique recently opened in one of the high end malls.  If you see her sketches published with her signature at last you now know that she requested someone to do it for her. I think someone should challenge her to sketch on the spot.

Model Behavior

Many people are still wondering why this former model separated from her husband and accepted a job overseas. There are always two sides to every story. Let me present to you the two different perspectives and you can decide for yourself as to which one you want to believe in. 

According to the friends of this model, she was verbally and mentally abused by her husband. He looked down upon her and treated her like trash. He took away her car and forbade her from hiring house maids. When she could no longer take it, she decided to leave the house. Her husband refused to show their children to her ever since she left.

The husband's friends on the other hand would say that it was the model who ruined the marriage. He caught her having an affair with another man. That was the main cause of his abusive behavior. When they both knew that things were not getting any better, they decided to end their marriage.

Many are aware that this model has a boyfriend now, but we do not really know when he entered the picture. Was he the cause of their separation? Maybe she only met him after she left her husband? You tell me.

This young actress met this veteran action star while they were shooting for a moving last year. She was her love interest not just for that movie. On the set, he treated her like VIP and made her feel like a queen. When the actor was done shooting his scenes, he would even stay behind to act as the actress' dialogue coach. This veteran actor does really know how to win the heart of this young lady.

I feel sad for this young actress because her career is just about to take off and her involvement with this actor might just ruin her. She should learn to shut the door to her heart because he is bound to break her literally and figuratively. His wife will definitely rip her apart once she finds out about their love affair. I heard the wife just looks nice but she terrorizes all of her husband's love interest.

Do you know who is this veteran action star? He comes from a family of actors. The young actress on the other hand just transferred from one network to another. Happy guessing.

Let me share with you some of the photos of Marriott Vacation Club at the Empire Palace I saw online. This is where my friends and I will be staying for one week. Do you see the photo of the dining area? I think that is where I will be writing my stories for Fashion PULIS. Thank you to my best friend B.C. for lending me his mini Lenovo laptop.

This is my first trip overseas for this year. I am already excited just by looking at these photos. I hope I will not be disappointed. As promised, I will try my best to post our travel pictures.

It is my third time to go to Bangkok but I can not remember anything from my previous trips. To my readers who are familiar with the city, I would appreciate all your recommendations. I will be waiting.

FP and Friends Go to BKK

Last January, I was very excited when I saw that the Cebu Pacific flights to Bangkok were on sale. Can you imagine paying only 6,300 Php for a round trip ticket to Bangkok? When I saw the price, I immediately called some of my friends to invite them to come along since I have a one week accommodation for six people courtesy of my time share.

So later tonight, four of my friends and I will be flying Cebu Pacific to Bangkok for a one week vacation. I have always loved Cebu Pacific and I have no issue flying with this budget airline. Thanks to the lite fares that this company offers, travelling overseas is actually made more affordable for every Filipino. 

Love Hurts in Mysterious Ways

When this actor was doing a television show during the nineties, he fell in love with one of the show's production staff who later became his girlfriend. The girl was so in love with him that she gave up her promotion in the network just so she can work with him. While their relationship was ongoing, the actor impregnated an actress who eventually decided to move out of the country to avoid the controversies. The girlfriend knew about the incident but she decided to forgive him and continue their love affair.

A few years later, the girlfriend was devastated when the actor confessed to her that he got another actress pregnant. He told her that this time around he had no way out so he had to propose marriage to this actress. When the girlfriend heard the shocking news, she immediately resigned from her job. She transferred to another network where she worked her way up from a production staff to an executive producer.

The actor is now married with children. From time to time though, he manages to escape from his family to meet up with this executive producer somewhere outside of Manila. It just so puzzling that  this girl still agrees to see him after all the heartache that he has caused her.

Tell Me Who Your Friends Are

Tim Mark Garcia is the head of public relations for Marc Jacob's men's division. He is also the son of the former Armed Forces of the Philippines comptroller Major General Carlos F. Garcia, who has been accused of stealing $6.2 million in public funds. In 2004, he purchased a Trump Park Avenue condominium worth $765,000 for his son.

I was saddened when I came across an article on guestofaguest.com some time ago crediting Tim for wearing his little Chanel ankle pouch (in red) to hide the electronic monitoring house arrest device (in black) that is snug around his ankle. The article in my opinion is sensationalizing him for the wrong reason. Let us keep in mind that Tim and his family are out on a million dollar bond.

Incidentally, Tim is a close friend of the BOY. He stays with him in his Park Avenue apartment when he visits New York City. Our characters are shaped by the company we keep. "Tell me who your friends are, and I will tell you who you are."

Afternoon Delight

A recreational vehicle or RV is a motor vehicle equipped with living space and amenities found in a house. It is very useful specially for actors who frequently go on location shoots. When the shoot goes on a break, an actor's RV becomes his safe haven where he can eat, rest or do anything he desires.

This action star always has his RV with him whenever he is shooting for his latest soap opera for a giant network. His new wife who hosts a noontime show in the same network would drop by the set almost everyday after her hosting job. Whenever the female director sees the wife on the set, she will let the entire production crew break for lunch. She always waits for the wife's arrival because she knows that the actor does not want to have lunch without her.

After the actor and his wife have entered their RV, two bodyguards will be assigned outside the door to make sure that no one disturbs them. After the one hour lunch break, the director normally spends another thirty to forty five minutes planning for the afternoon's shoot. When the director is ready, she will send her production assistant (PA) to the RV to invite the actor back to the set. 

When the bodyguards see the PA approaching, they will put their two hand on the RV for them to feel if it is shaking or not. If it is, they will do a funny hand gesture signalling to the PA that the actor is not ready. If it stops, then they will give a signal to the PA asking him to come back and knock on the door.

Do you know why the actor's RV is always shaking after lunch? My guess is that he and his wife are trying to burn some calories. Can you guess what they are doing? Do you know who is this action star? How about his television host wife?

Fashion Bullying, a Scene from MAGKARIBAL

A female fashion designer has disliked this young Cebu bred fashion designer V.R. ever since one of her workers transferred to her. Their paths never crossed until last Saturday night in an after fashion show party in Greenbelt's M Cafe. This was what happened.

This female designer was partying with her male writer friend when suddenly a restauranteur/jewelry designer/socialite from Cebu passed by. The writer said hi to her and noticed her outfit so he asked her who did it. When the writer heard her say "it is V.R.", he teased his female designer friend by repeating the name over and over again. The socialite found the behavior unusual so she shared the incident with V.R. when she saw her later that night at the party.

Unfortunately, when it was time for V.R. to leave, she had to pass through the area where the female designer and her writer friend were hanging out. When she reached that part of the venue, the two blocked her way on purpose. V.R. had to say "excuse me po" several times before they looked at her with pity and allowed her to pass. V.R. left the party feeling very bad because she was bullied by two people who are supposed to be more mature than she. They might have been a bit drunk but that does not give them an excuse for their immature and distasteful behavior. It was just like a scene from the soap opera Magkaribal!

I suggest you visit Crossings Shangri La Mall and check out the display window to familiarize yourself with the works of V.R. Coincidentally, her cocktail dresses and long gowns caught my attention last Wednesday when I visited the said mall. 

How about the two fashion bullies, do you know them? The female designer has a store that is walking distance from the party venue. My apologies though to the readers who are not familiar with the Greenbelt area. On the other hand, the writer needs no clue. His behavior speaks for himself.

Guess Where FP is Going Next Week

On Monday night, I am flying to the capital of this country with four of my close friends. We will be there for six days. This is the first time that I am not excited for my trip because I know I have to leave my readers behind. I am already feeling the separation anxiety. I will try my best though to write from where I am. It might also take more time before I get to post your comments. I hope you will be patient.

Double Dead

This mother had her baby girl when she was a teenager so she decided to leave her behind in the hospital. She thought her dark past will be buried forever until a few years ago when she received a phone call from a woman who claimed that she was that baby. After receiving the call, the mother decided to open up her sketchy past to her husband because she was scared that the caller might extort money from her. The understanding husband did not judge her and even suggested that they should set a meeting with the caller.

On the day of the meeting, the mother was very relieved when she learned that the daughter she abandoned turned out to be an accomplished doctor. After their initial meeting, they met each other regularly trying to make up for lost time. When they became close to each other, the mother tried to loan cash amounting close to two million pesos from her newly found daughter. Since the daughter  was told that the money will be used for the family's business, she agreed to lend her the money without further questions.

Almost two years have passed since the money lending incident happened and the daughter still has not received any payment. She would enter into an argument with the mother every time she brings up the topic. Her patience eventually dwindled so one day she exploded and had a big fight with her. After that day, she decided to cut off her ties with her and her family members.

The daughter has not been paid to this day. She regretted that she had to look for her biological mother that led her to lose so much money. She wished she never got to know her.

Do you know who is this mother? It might be difficult for some of you to guess her identity because she is not that known. She does have a popular hot athlete son though who belongs to a highly publicized all male sport team. Her family is into the retail business.

Model Homewrecker

This commercial model first laid eyes on her son's classmate's dad when she saw him in school. Since he was always with his wife, she befriended both of them. She would take photos of her son together with their daughter and share it with them. In short, she was considered as a friend of the family.

One time when this dad went out of the country, the wife accidentally accessed the messages from his social networking site. She was devastated when she discovered that her husband was having an affair with their daughter's classmate's mom for more than six month already. She saw messages from the model telling her husband that she wanted him exclusively for herself. She goes on bad mouthing the wife and suggesting that he should abandon her. She even threatened him that if he does not leave his family, she will just try to fix her marriage with her husband.

Eventually, the wife separated from her husband after discovering his affair with this model. Although this was not the first time she caught him womanizing, the affair with their daughter's classmate's mom was just unforgivable. She just knew that it was time for her to let go. 

The funny thing is a couple of years later, news broke out that her former husband was caught in bed with a politician's common law wife. When the politician caught them on the act, he got hold of his mobile phone containing the messages sent to him by his other married lovers. The politician later went on television threatening these married women that he will call their husbands and inform them about their extra marital activities.

Right after the politician's interview was aired, the model set her social networking site on private mode. She isolated herself from all her friends and went into hibernation. More than a year later, her friends just got news that she already had another baby.

Do you know who is this model? She may not be very popular but she has several television commercials wherein she always plays the role of a housewife. She was washing clothes in one of the television advertisements for a brand of detergent.

Before I end this story, I have two pieces of advice. To the casting agents out there, you should look into the background of the talents you hire because their negative image might affect the brand. To all the mothers out there, do not allow your husbands to be over exposed in your kid's school because there are just too many lonely married women lurking around.
