When famous personalities acknowledge that they studied in a particular school, they are usually the toast of the said school. Students look up to these famous personalities, and dream to be as successful. Often, students value every advice these famous personalities impart and respect them for their achievements.

Take the case of how a group of young people looked up to engaging performer (EP), but only to end up in disappointment. Having studied in a top university and being a member of a student group, EP was tasked to direct a project. During rehearsals, the students listened enthusiastically as EP recalled his start and his struggles in showbusiness. After a while, the students realized that during their meetings, all EP did was brag about his achievements.

Instead of inspiring the students, EP turned off some of them. Because of fortuitous events, the schedule for the project was messed up, and most promises of EP were not delivered. Added to this problem is the claim that EP was a tightwad. Moreover, the students had to work among themselves to stage the project because EP was too busy with his commitments to be 100% hands-on on a student-led project.

One of the topics that EP bragged about was his impending movie in which he was going to be the lead star. He talked about the project as though it were bound to be a sure hit. However, news leaked that another comedian (AC) had replaced EP in the lead role. EP allegedly reacted by saying that AC was richer and more powerful, and capable of influencing the decisions of the production. Obviously, EP thought of himself less in terms of the wealth and power of AC. However, EP added that he at least shares his blessings.

Is EP still bitter about AC replacing him in the movie? Does his reaction imply that he is not so fond of AC even if they work in the same network? Will EP ever have his own solo movie and become as popular as AC? Perhaps, EP should start first by showing humility and keeping his promises to whatever commitment he makes on projects, especially when these projects have a student-base.

Masking Her Crumbling Affair

Just like that, Diffident Young Thespian (YT) might be crying her heart out not because of what she discovered about Promising Actor (PA), but rather for how Cute Discovery (CD) might be snickering behind her back.

Other than getting flak over her involvement with PA, YT lost her sister-like ties with CD. When they were still close, CD confided in YT, and part of those secrets were her alleged heartaches with PA. Now, even their fans would join into the fray, with each camp reacting and bashing at every chance they get to prop up or to defend their respective idols.

If PA promised YT he would change his alleged playboy ways for her, YT must have left a small room for doubt. One time, YT followed PA and caught him with a pretty girl at the lobby of a condo. What ensued was a confrontation at the lobby.

Until now, PA and YT are still not okay. YT must maintain that all is well and project the she still has a secure relationship with PA. YT has to keep up the image so CD (and her fan base) and Evolving Singer (ES) will not laugh at her. Well, the public might also be in unison in saying to YT, “see, we told you so!”

Will we soon see a crying YT on television because PA broke her heart, too, as he did with CD and ES? Will YT disregard what she saw, and fix her relationship with PA? Will PA ever get rid of his playboy ways? Too many questions require too many answers. Then, perhaps, their management will use this incident as another publicity stunt to maintain the public interest in all three.
