According to scientific studies, those who work with graveyard shifting schedules are more prone to diseases and have high risks of acquiring illness they wouldn’t have if their stress levels are normal. For a normal stress level in someone who works during the night, a healthy lifestyle is needed:

Buhay ng Isang Working Student


Noon pa man, alam na natin ang importansya ng edukasyon kung kaya naman talagang ginagalingan natin sa eskwelahan. Mahirap maging estudyante dahil marami rin itong kaakibat na stress pero mas mahirap kung isa kang working student.

Tignan natin si Jericho 21 anyos mula sa Cainta Rizal na isang working student. Ayon kay Jericho, “iba ang hirap ng isang working student, kung akala mo nakakastress na yung school, hindi pa pala. Importante sakin na makagraduate ng kolehiyo kaso lang kulang ang pera namin para sa pangkolehiyo ko kaya napilitan akong sumabak sa pagiging working student. Nagtatrabaho ako ngayon sa call center sa Taguig. Hindi madali lalo na hindi ito part-time lang. Binigyan lang ako ng manager ko ng special schedule kung saan nakapili ako ng off at oras ng pasok na swak sa schedule ko. Graveyard shift ako sa trabaho tapos sa umaga naman ay derecho na ako sa school. Nung una, mamatay matay ako lagi sa antok, madalas din ako magkasakit at nahihirapan talaga ako balansehin ang oras ko pero hindi rin naman nagtagal naging okay na din at nasanay ako. Mula sa suporta ng pamilya ko, mga mahal sa buhay, managers sa opisina, professors sa school hindi ako sumuko. Lalo na nung nahanap ko yung isang bagay na makakatulong sakin sa lifestyle ko ngayon, ang energy booster!”
