If yun lang yun eh d parang ewan naman na magbigay ng eulogy ang kaloveteam ng apo. Hindi makakasalita si echo dyan kung hindi family ni janine ang nagsabing magsalita sya. But it.s easier to criticize lalo na pag bashers ng echonine to judge him based on the seconds clip video, kaya naturally ito ang immediate reaction: inappropriate ang admission during wake, all about him, bakit naka-cap during the wake, annulled na ba sya, pa-main character. Disregarded the context why he was there, why he was asked to sing and to give speech by the bereaved family. Sino ba itong mga nagmamarunong na Im sure were not even physically there to pay their respects? Wow, holier than thou ang peg. Ang lilinis at perfect ng english nyo. All he did there was to support his gf and honor the dead. Im sure the family knew they’re together, bday pa lang last year ni pilita andun na sya, but he said what he said as an fyi para po sa inyong bashers. Ang hirap iplease ng fandom ng kabilang loveteam noh?

At ano naman problema nyo sa english ni echo? Nainitindihan nyo naman diba. Buti sana kung hindi. He communicates well and that’s what’s important. Ive listened to him speak. He gets the message across. I dont find it cringe kasi in real life, a lot of people who are not as eloquent as native born speakers, speak the same way. Lumalabas lang ang superiority complex nyo.

ReplyDeleteAng humble at heartwarming naman pala ng mga sinabi ni Echo. Bakit siya nababash? Hindi naman nag-iinarte o cringe English niya. Taglish naman pagkakasabi niya, hindi boastful ang tono. Saka sa kuwento niya parang ang close niya sa big family ni Janine at inaadmire niya. Tapos ang close ni Janine sa mom ni Echo para magkantahan sila at mag-iyakan for 45 minutes nung nasa bahay ni Echo. May alzheimer's mom ni Echo pero ang naaalala at kinakanta, mga kanta ni Ms.Pilita. Echo even said hindi niya sini-steal ang show, kung maiyak siya sa song number niya bilang alay na kanta sa family na naulila, ay dahil may personal touch sa kanya, sa Mom niya at sa mga tao ang mga kanta ni Ms.Pilita. Goes beyond memories, tama siya.
