Noong una, the Noranian in me resents her for not being more present in Nora’s life. But in the past 4 days watching the wake and funeral, I realized how complicated their lives must have been esp Nora’s children. I understood the pain for the first time. And I realized Janine and her siblings are just collateral damage to the complicated relationship of their mom to their lola. Nanghihinayang lang ako sa panahon na nasayang at sana mas nakilala pa nila ang isat isa dahil wow marami sana syang natutunan sa Lola Guy nya.
Agree. Sayang yung nagdaang mga taon at oras na hindi nila nakasama si Mama Guy nya. Sana sinulit nila no nung nalaman nilang nasa critical stage na siya.
Curious lang po ako, saan nyo nakita ung complicated dynamics nila? Gusto ko rin makita. Masaya sana kung maayos ang pamilya ni nora ano, masaya sana kung kasing close sya ng mga apo nya tulad ni pilita na may vlog content pa kasama si janine.
Based sa mga salaysay nila, public property si Nora. She grew up in the public eye and nawala din ang childhood nya. Mahirap yung juggling act nya as mother and superstar kaya magulo ang family dynamics. Big factor din nung nag US si Nora ng matagal and naiwan sila here without a mother figure sa formative years nila and naging mother figure si Lot sa kapatid and mga anak nya and nawindang din si Lot sa situation na yun. I think dun nag stem yung galit nya sa mom nya. Regarding her sickness, i think doble pasakit kay Nora if she sees her children worrying about her kaya nilihim nalang. I think she is the opposite of being a narcissist and ayaw pa importante.
Off topic pero it is so real nung sinabi nya na stay home, mag ayos ng bahay and mag aral ng script. I mean at the end of the day, tao talaga sila with a job na glamorous pero at the same time real work na requires time and dedication.
Grabe yung kakauwi mo lang galing libing then biglang may ililibing na naman kayo. Parang di mn lng nabigyan ng time para mag grieve sa isa, may isa na naman. Grabeng emotional damage, ang strong nya ha.
Kita nyo naman sa pic ni Janine with her lola Guy na hindi lumang luma yung pic at artista na sya nyan . Nagmmake face pa si Lola Guy bya ibig sabihin close sila. So hindi totoo na wala silang relationship. Dapat hulihin mga fake news peddlers.
Janine loved both of her grandmothers in a different way. Pilita and Nora also loved their grandchildren in their own way, too. Who are we to judge how Janine was to Nora? She was navigating life the best she knew how. We don't know the entire picture, guys.
