He was on his 2nd year college when his mother died, and his family was struggling financially. His dad was forced to resign from his job to get the separation pay, (sobrang laki ng gastos nila noon at wala silang pera -- noon time na yun -- madalas na siguro magka-sakit ang nanay niya kasi umabot sa time na naging "bed-ridden" pa at siguro pambayad sa hospital at gamot or medisina etc... at namatayan pa sila )
His life circumstances forced him to become responsible for himself and to help his family financially especially his Father. Marami beses daw nag-audition, marami beses rin siya na-reject -- until nakapasok siya sa GMA 7 as leading man.
i read his magazine and listen to some of his interviews.
On the contrary, he excels in everything na pinapasok nya. He’s a popular A list actor, good businessman, he is doing well sa hobbies. Tapos eto gusto nya mag aral, may kuda pa din? Ano problema mo? Crab mentality talaga mga pinoy na tulad mo
I always like yung mga artista na nagta try na maka tapos pa din ng pag aaral nila. I mean sa case ni Alden, he has established himself well sa Showbiz at Business world. And I’m sure, financially settled na din ang family Nya. So self fulfillment naman nya this time. Way to go Alden!
