  1. Ilang beses na nagpost si Nadal about her. Syempre she graduated from his academy pero ibang level ang support sa kanya. Daming nagsassabi na magka mukha sila ni Raducanu and almost same ang story, pero if she ever wins this tournament, wag naman sana maging Raducanu ang story niya

    1. No! They dont look the same, para kasi sa westerners basta asian/ may asian blood magkakamukha na lol and si emma, qualifier and ang swerte sa draw while si alex e wildcard yes but ang hirap ng draw. 3 grandslam winners tinalo. So mas deserving si alex whereas si emma more of sinwerte kaya hirap din sya ulitin yun performance na yun

    2. BIGLANG NAGSULPUTAN ANG MGA MAHIHILIG KUNO SA TENNIS KAHIT WALA NAMANG KAALAM ALAM SA MECHANICS NG SPORT NA ITO 🙄

    3. Si ER after her fairy tale run eh mas nagfocus sa endorsements at social life kaya ang bilis sumemplang

    4. no way can't compare to Raducanu, Alex has been consistently winning since junior open.

    5. Emma is a grand slam winner at 19. Alex, at the same age, is struggling to even qualify to compete in one. This match is for Miami Open which is not a grand slam. Top players don’t exert too much effort in these games to avoid injury for the grand slams.

    6. Until she win a grand slam, Emma is still better. It doesn’t matter who they beat in the process, it is getting to the finish line, getting the title is what matters the most.

Saw both in person and both are taller, slimmer and prettier in real life. Emma is more Caucasian-looking because she is half-Romanian.

  2. Sulit ang puyat pagwatch ng laro and had a lump on my throat watching that innocent unbeievable look on her face when the game ended. Congratulations Alex. I will pray for your victory on your next game.

    2. Yes, @10:40, BUT I've noticed that 2 days after the fact pa bago nagsulputan mga posts sa IG ng mga media dyan sa Pinas. Then booommm. Sunod sunod na. Gaya Gaya lang. Ha ha ha.

  5. Rafa's uncle and former coach was even there to support her. Congratulations, Alex. We're proud of you...

Like she hasn’t even won the tournament yet.

    ReplyDelete

    1. This is so true and typical for Pinoys. Yes, of course we can be proud pero OA na comments ng iba. I've been a fan of the sport for 20 years. I cringe dahil halos lahat ng major tennis fb channels are now getting bombarded by pinoys making excessive comments about Alex. Kalma lang po.

      Delete

      Delete
    3. True! Filipinos stop doing that! It is super cringy.

      Delete
    4. obviously you don't follow tennis to even know she's been winning since junior open. and besides it is indeed a proud moment. She's the 1st Filipino to reach WTA1000... well most likely WALA KA NAMAN ALAM

    5. Kalma 11:24 Oo ikaw na madaming alam,, Take a chill pill

    6. 11:24 I am one of the oldest active members of TennisForums, the site for real tennis enthusiasts and experts, don’t even start with me. And yes, I am the same poster at 12:14.

    7. To some people, Eala’s victory may be the only good news they encounter in a day. Please don’t deprive them of their reason to celebrate.

      Delete
I don't get kung bakit napaka sensitive nyo sa ganyan? HOnestly, years ago, annoying talaga yung proud pinoy comments pero look at the bright side naman kasi anlaki na ng nabawas na proud pinoy comments pag may naa-achieve ang isang pinoy.
Pero honestly, ALL NATIONALITIES ARE PROUD WHEN THEIR COUNTRYMEN ARE FAMOUS FOR SOMETHING GOOD. I read their comments and they're all proud if they come from the same country or from the same town pero bakit big deal pag Filipino?

    1. Truuueee! Unlike kasi beauty pageants na one year lang ang title, ito bumibilang ng taon and both men and women sobrang passionate

    2. This not a Grand slam tournament, this is only WTA 1000 so not bigger than the Olympics.

      Delete

    4. Hindi naman po sya kagalingan

    5. It not bigger than the Olympics. Miami Open is not a grand slam event.

  10. Wow! Praying for the finals.

  11. Magaling sya dahil for her Asian physique na dehado compare sa mga opponents. Try nyo magwatch grabe yung mga arms and legs ng iba. Mahaba na and muscled plus matatangkad pa sila. Mahirap ang tennis dahil endurance and fast thinking talaga ang kailangan mo. Bravo Alexa for your hard work and strength!

  12. Although Tennis is not that big sa Pinas compared to other sports, I still remember my parents putting tennis on TV during Andre Agassi, Pete Samprass, Steffi Graff, and syempre Williams sisters eras. I alwayds liked watching the sport and amazed by the stamina needed to go through all those sets. Glad we have Akex Eala raising our flag in this sport. Goodluck to you!!

  17. Go alex. 8:30 am today, laban niya sa semis. I’m a fan. While her oppononents may have powerful swings, hers were smart plays talaga. Hope you win this tournament, from an unknown wildcard to a young star. Ang sarap manood ng new and rising stars, lalo na kay alex na kita ko iyon passion and emotion niya. Sana makuha mo ito plus future GS to your belt

    6. Wow the negativity! Cant you just be happy for her? It’s the first time a Filipino has ever made it this far at any ATP/WTA tourney, let alone break into the top 100 world ranking. That is a huge deal, plus this girl- a teenager mind- has been working hard for years to achieve this. Jesus I’m so sick of Filipinos like you
