I feel like mas ok sya if mas subtle yun mga sampaguita vs yun ganyan na makapal. Kasi it draws your eyes to the “garland” vs maris, the whole look, and the dress. I get the comment below na for PH representation but pag todo kasi nagiging overkill. Mas type ko yun mga atake ng paglagay ng details ni catriona before. But yeah overall maganda naman.

I guess she's wearing yellow because her movie is entitled "Sunshine." The sampaguita-inspired necklace she's wearing is likely connected to the movie, which they filmed in Quiapo. Just my guess. She's pretty, with light makeup. And she's brave for wearing a backless gown when it's snowing. I saw the movie when it got premiered at TIFF, she really gives justice to the character. No doubt she’s the perfect cast for Sunshine. Congrats Maris.
Sorry ha pero ung mga national themed dress isave para sa pageants or sa SONA kasi lets be real di naman tayo nationalistic sa bayan natin. Kaya nagmumukhang pretentious maging makabayan sa red carpet. Some of these international films arent even shown here para sa tin tapos Pinoy values kuno. These films arent made for us but for the foreign viewer.
