Aside from sobrang init that people order their groceries kahit nasa baba lang ng condo ang store. It is also not pretty everywhere unless you are super rich.
11:53 hindi ka naman magbababad sa araw. Most of the time nasa labas ka ba? Unless you’re going to sunbathe or you don’t have a car to drive, I’m gonna be okay with it. Wag kayong pakelamera!
I’ve been living here for 8 years and never ako nainitan. Even footbridge here naka AC noh. Besides, half a year lang naman mainit. Other half, malamig. Tignan nyo nga sila Marian naka sweater. And it’s the safest city in the world.
12:07 wag kang assuming and projecting. I got stranded in dubai for almost 6 months during covid. Nagbakasyon ako somewhere else then naglockdown everywhere i thought i’d go through dubai since open sya then catch a flight home. Pagdating ko doon, banned ng Pinas and UAE hence nastranded. I mostly lived in 3-4star hotels okay naman for me ang rate. I lived mostly in Barsha. Ang baba ng tingin sa Filipina ng ibang expats and the Emiratis themselves. I always walk to MOE and never once na walang bumusina at humarang na car soliciting for my ‘service’. It is very convenient there though, gping from one place to another with train. But based on my experience, Dubai is only good if you have the money to spend on its artificial attractions. Even the beaches and the hotels, even the Palm Jumeirah itself is not that impressive. Convenient, easy to live (if you have money) yes. But the city itself, is soulless.
Taga dito ka? Winter po ngayon dito, hehe. Not the nagyeyelo winter ha? Still, malamig.
I lived there for approx 15 years. I love the convenience sa pagcocommute, pamimili sa supermarket at maayos na kalsada. Peaceful pa. Nasa tao naman yan kung you will live beyond your means. Kung maluho ka, ubos talaga sahod mo.
I worked in Dubai. And if tatanungin ako kung gusto ko pang bumalik don? Shout out kay Jo-an at Myline ng Abu Dhabi! Hahaha
Mag-aral kase mabuti, di porket disyerto eh buong taong mainit. Summer and winter po ang season ng UAE and the middle east that some places even snows.
It’s a perfect place next to Japan and Switzerland.
ReplyDeleteNope.

Delete12:18 true. Lived in Dubai for 15 yrs.
