California is an area that's meant to burn every 50 or so years to get rid of the dry leaves, naturally thats what had been happening there. But men started living there and inhabiting imthe area. Theyve been reducing forest fires too and this has lead to all these dried leaves not being burned and probing the perfect recipe for the wildfires. 100 years worth of dried leaves. People also werent being so responsible about disposing their dried leaves on their properties so the fire kept being fed also their homes were wood unlike some who built cement.

At sa climate naman, imagine Baguio city na malamig ang climate, ganun sila at mas malamig pa sa Amerika dahil nag-snow doon.

Windstorm and wildfire full force for the past 4 days STRAIGHT. kaya ambilis kumalat ng sunog. Also, yes, sa pinas pag taga bundok usually less fortunate , or pag sa tabing dagat usually poor. But here baliktad. Mayayaman nasa bundok or nasa tabing dagat. But anyway, lahat affected middle class and rich people. Kawawa. Just pls pray for California. ReplyDeletePremium land yan parang Lahaina. Government wants the land back to rebuild it as "smart city". To rebuild at this era with smart tech, ai, solar etc. maraming new regulations which those regular home owners likely unable to afford the rebuilding so in the end they will settle for lesser value payout and move out. They will also wait for many long years for decisions and permits to rebuild. So some people will just force to settle. Some people are just truly evil. Corrupt and greedy. Oh there's also LA Olympics in '28. For that they will need Malibu, Palisades and (burning currently) premium locations for the olympics facilities.

DeleteIt’s so sad how this beautiful city became like a war zone. The government should cancel these insurance companies that cancelled the residents’ fire insurance. Every home should have fire insurance. And worse, a lot of fire hydrants don’t have water. To think that Californians pay a lot of taxes. It’s so infuriating how the government spend the taxpayers’ money on those who are actually non- taxpayers.
