ReplyDeleteHe attended a Christmas Party lang last year kasma ng iba ka work ng dad ko. He is simple, approachable and a good man. Ang Dami niya din niya natulungan na tao sa agricultural sector. Nakakalungkot. Nakikita din namin siya kumakain sa restaurant nila ng wife niya si Dina sa Victorinos.

DeleteUndiagnosed siguro yung abdominal aortic aneurysm nya. Mahirap talaga sa Pinas walang screening sa ganyan pag may edad na. Kahit marami ka pang pera kung di ka aware ganyan din ang kalalabasan.
ReplyDeleteMy mom passed away from a ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm. Pwedeng alam nila but did not go for surgery. Very risky kasi operation niito. You can die on the table or suffer a stroke or heart attack during surgery. If you survive the surgery, the quality of life is questionablle din. It’s like a ticking time bomb and unpredictable when the bulge is going to rupture. Doctors did not recommend surgery with my mom’s case kasi very complicated yung mga ugat leading to the bulge sa may aorta. She lived for 6 more years after her diagnosis. Albert Einstein, actors John Ritter and Lucille Ball all died from the same illness.
DeleteCoronary angiogram , abdominal ultrasound or CT scan are the usual tests or screenings to detect abdominal aortic aneurysm. Cardiologists order these type of screenings to see the overall view of the chest and the abdomen.
DeleteMaybe he knows pero he didn’t want to go through with the operation. Mga lalake kadalasan takot sa mga doctor, ospital kaya hanggat walang mararamdaman, tuloy lang lifestyle nila.
DeleteMay nakita ako sa tiktok na ganito yung sakit. Nasa 20s pa lang sila both magasawa. May 2 anak. Nagundergo ng surgery yung guy siguro nagrisk na din sila but hindi din niya kinaya :(

ReplyDeleteIf undiagnosed like yung kay John Ritter, symptoms niya unti unti na pala nagle leak yung aneurysm bulge and he thought he was just coming down with a fever or flu symptoms lang. By the time the doctors found out when he was in the hospital na, nag rupture na totally. Once the aneurysm ruptures , it’s pretty much over. As I have mentioned in earlier post abt my mom, when her aneurysm ruptured resulting to dissection of the artery wall ( while at the ER) quick intense pain and she was gone almost instantly. Earlier that day she was feeling unwell but really can’t tell why. What I’ve immediately noticed was her color. Pasty , ashy white. This illness is very tricky , cruel/no mercy ; and like ticking time bomb inside the body.
