Favorite ko yung character niya bilang Tita Minerva sa Palibhasa. Landlady with drinking problem. She was funny there. And my favorite movie of her Hongkong Holiday. Napanuod ko pa yung black and white movie na yun sa channel 9 when i was younger

DeleteGanda nung sinulat ni Charo. Bright girl talaga. I've watched that movie Kapag Langit Ang Humatol. Classic. Ang ganda. Kontrabida si Ms. Gloria dun. Sa Palibhasa Lalake naman iconic un pagiging lassingera niya at pangookray lagi kay Cynthia. It's nice to have lived during the 80s and 90s. Death is really painful and heartbreaking. No words could define the pain.

Natatawa ako sa characters ni Miss Gloria sa mga movies ni Regine...yung groovy na grandma sa DoReMi at at Dahil May Isang Ikaw. Before those movies, kilala ko lang siya bilang drama actress kaya revelation sa akin at that time na may comedic timing siya.

Delete4:13 try watching Palibhasa episodes sa YouTube. Her Tita Minerva character is iconic, ang galing nya as comedian don... Mahilig sya uminom don at weird mga fave na food nya don like pickles and mayo ata or ice cream na sabay nyang kinakain :). That sitcom lasted for almost 10 yrs ata or more than that's why super close sila Amy Perez sa kanya.

DeleteIt’s not about nitpicking or choosing only what to notice. I don’t even dislike Sharon as an actress and I love many of her songs. Have heard stories also of her kindness to some people offcam, which I believe, since these were shared by people she had actually worked with. But the Ate Shawie I see on socmed is a different story as well, especially if at times she can’t help making it about her, very much like how she was as a program host back then.
But then, because showbiz is in mourning because of the demise of a queen, an icon of Philippine cinema, so pwede nalang palagpasin ng slight yung statement, LOL!
