Nope.
But for a material such as this na medyo hindi mainstream, in order for it to sell, they should have gotten a bigger name for the lead(s). Para magkaroon ng pull sa audience.
Oo nga. Da who un bida eh. Walang hatak.
Yung kayang mag fit sa role at yung range na meron for the characters. Kailangan actor/thespian talaga
It is really heartbreaking. In a perfect world, everything is fair. But, in the real world, it is not. Money, still, makes the world go round. Blockbuster movies will still get the most numbers of cinemas. At the end of the day, it is still business.
Kasi walang class at taste most of filipinos. Hindi natutunang mag-appreciate ng arts. Kahit theater etiquette, ignorante ang madami. Masabi lang nanood ng musical or theater plays.
Eh alam mo naman na pala mga hit genre sa mmff na movies bakit pa kayo gumawa ng musical pinilit ba kayo ng madlang pipol gawin yang movie na yan in the first place??
208 Yes. I watched na. It was great. I hope it will also be adapted to a musical play. Filipinos are more into entertainment not arts, which is sad coz arts deepens ones creativity, discipline & judgment. Kaya siguro walang asenso bansa natin at madaming mangmang.
2:08 Practicing class is a good start to developing your self-confidence and greater opportunities which may lead one to succeed. You're missing shots just by exploring entertainment.
8:50 It was staged as a musical play first before they made it into a musical film. Sadly, halos limited to Metro Manila (and perhaps a few pattons from nearby provinces) ang reach ng theater.
There’s always streaming platforms like Netflix and Amazon to name a few. Most people nowadays prefer to watch movies in the comforts of their homes.
Sorry pero weird kasi eh. Why do a movie musical of something that was already a movie?
ReplyDeleteNope.
ReplyDeleteSadly marami ang kagaya ni 1205 na manunood dahil sa bida and not for the story.
DeleteSad pero di natin madikta ang gusto ng tao, nagpunta ako sa mall kanina puro bata at bagets ang nakapila sa sinehan of course kasama ang guardian or parents, mas ok siguro nag cinemalaya sila or whatever

DeleteTrue. Ang hirap imarket nyan to a wider audience.
DeleteHis request being granted will be Isang Himala.
ReplyDeleteHindi kasi sya entertaining
ReplyDeleteNope. Entertaining siya dahil magagaling yung mga performances and musical numbers. Super moving. Thought provoking pa at the same time
DeleteWala masyado interested manood so bakit dadagdagan. This movie was so unnecessary anyway.
ReplyDeleteIt is really heartbreaking. In a perfect world, everything is fair. But, in the real world, it is not. Money, still, makes the world go round. Blockbuster movies will still get the most numbers of cinemas. At the end of the day, it is still business.
ReplyDeleteTrue. Popularity over quality.
DeleteBusiness is business.
Business is business.
ReplyDeleteCinemas will choose a movie that will rake in money. It is a business after all.
ReplyDeleteilagay nyo sa Netflix
ReplyDeleteEh kc naman di naman na din bago yung movie nyo diba its a remake na musical and di rin naman talaga mabenta ang musical dito sa pinas

DeleteUn bida pa da who, walang market so sino ba talaga manunuod un kamag anak lang ng mgaa cast.

Ewan.
Delete208 I watched it. It was great. You will feel proud of Filipinos talent and musicality.
Delete8:50 It was staged as a musical play first before they made it into a musical film. Sadly, halos limited to Metro Manila (and perhaps a few pattons from nearby provinces) ang reach ng theater.
DeleteBecause it's a remake (which they made into a musical) that no one asked for. Nora's film under Ishma was already a classic.
