Eto naman. Maraming dahilan.
At 12:55 my cousin has a narrow birth canal and so her OB from KSA told her she needs scheduled CS. She gave birth earlier than expected, and just like you, the COVERING OB suggested normal spontaneous delivery even though she adamantly refused, they induced her contractions and still tried. You know what happened? The baby’s head got stock, failed vacuum attempt, she ended up having a stat c-section. Could have been a healthy baby boy kung walang nag marunong. Unfortunately, the baby died 2h after delivery. There are things you just need to accept and let the professionals handle it.
I had placenta previa which progressed to placenta accreta (igoogle niyo na lang please, mahabang explanation) so I knew at 20 weeks out of the question ang normal delivery, let alone ang maglabor. The risk of bleeding and DYING is too high so I was scheduled for CS. We were hoping umabot ng 37 weeks at least pero 35 weeks pa lang kinailangan na ko iCS kasi may signs na ng early labor. Even then, nagbleed pa din ako while on the operating table. I lost 1.5 liters of blood and needed 2 bags. I was on general anesthesia, the operation lasted 2.5 hours. Sa 2.5 hours na yun, 15 minutes lang to get the baby out, the rest was spent trying to stop the bleeding, save my uterus and ultimately SAVE MY LIFE. Hindi lahat ng nagpapaCS choice nila yun and only wants an "easy way out". After what I went through, I now have mad respect sa lahat ng babaeng nanganganak, whether normal or CS pa yan. We really put our lives on the line for our babies.
Ako naman Nov 28 ang due date based on LMP, still no sign of labor till now, tapos cord coil pa si baby, kaya magpapa schedule na ako ng CS, ang hirap irisk
@12:55 I had a scheduled CS too due to a placenta previa. Yes, sometimes we just don't have a choice and would also choose what's best and safe for both, the baby and the mother. So, STOP being judgemental!
I was induced when I was 40 weeks and 3 days but progressed to an emergency C-section and gave birth at 40 weeks and 5 days because I didn’t dilate and had a fever. So Hindi kaartehan ang C-section, as much as gusto ko ng natural birth dahil zero and pain tolerance ko, I couldn’t.
Same kind of judgmental people na looking down on formula milk feeding moms. Kesa magutom ang baby at magsuffer , formula is the smartest way to feed the baby.
Hindi pala practice sa Pilipinas ang skin-to-skin contact between the newborn and parents. Or yung dad, walang t-shirt na suot when cradling the baby. This is to start the bonding process.
Ate, you only saw a few minutes of the whole birthing process. Yung “glamorous” side lang. Hindi lahat kailangan ilagay sa vlog. Maybe for them ung skin-to-skin contact eh too private to show.
Grabe!
Tapos pareho silang mapera.
Congrats to both of them.
Was on scheduled CS 10yrs ago, due to complications of IUGR. Basically the fetus wasn't growing so it can meet an untimely demise if CS wasn't performed. My baby was born underweight. He is 10 now with developmental and intellectual delay. 😢
Bakit scheduled CS. Didn’t even try spontaneous
ReplyDeleteIf you can afford CS why not?
DeleteEto naman. Maraming dahilan.
DeleteIn my case scheduled cs kasi breech position si baby.

Delete2:23 awww ang sakit naman nyan. Sana kinasuhan nila un covering OB! :(
DeleteBakit alam mong choice nila agad is CS? Alam mo ba na baka may underlying condition sya na need sya e CS?

Delete@1:27 1:50 wag magalit.. clueless lang sya kaya nag ask.
DeleteMas nakakapagtaka yung nangkwekwestyon. Hahaha! Bakit nangengeelam? May ambag??
DeleteSi 12:55 yata nagbayad ng hospital bills. Sya din daw magpupush ng baby kaya affected much 😂
DeleteSa Singapore common yung ganun na scheduled birth.
DeleteUsually they will need to pay additional kung bigla ka manganak. Merong silang packages na you have to pay extra in case you give birth early.
