      Delete
    3. But it is history…

      Delete
    4. 12:54 Kelly Clarkson is from AMERICAN IDOL.

Sumisikat na siya pero nabaril after her concert, sadness...

      Delete
    2. Eto na naman si Miss Negative Nancy/1:07 😅

      Delete
    3. This time he actually introduced himself as Filipino on the program. He did not claim to be any other. So yes, we must be proud for the success of our kababayan.

      Delete
    4. Just jump into the bandwagon, KABAYAN…..

      Delete
    5. Sa other post andaming critical of him and didnt believe he should win.

      Delete
    6. 4:39 PM They were yapping on the other post about the other contestant having more potential in becoming a succesful recording artist when the said contestant isn't even charismatic enough to accumulate enough votes to win. They were also downplaying his voice and praising the other contestant's voice being "unique" pero obvious ngayon that it wasn't utilized enough. A winner must also be engaging, and that's one of the qualities that Sofronio posses.

      Delete
    7. 4:39 pero marami ding naniniwala sa kanya which outweighs the negative ones. Even Americans supports him. The Uticans has been very supportive of him from the start. The local TV station in New York rally behind him and talk about him all the time prior to winning.

      Delete
    8. 4:39 right? Haha. Mga pinoy talaga eh

      Delete
May pinagdadaanan? Lahat issue? Lumayas ka sa Pinas

      Delete
    10. Kung pangit ang review, talangka.

Pag masaya sa panalo, "ayan na naman ang mga proud to be pinoy"

Aba saan ba dapat lumugar? Sa Deadma Corner?

      Delete
    11. 4:39 you can’t always get everyone on your side. Even in politics. What matters is majority believes in his talent. Even Snoop is in awe of him. He wouldn’t get 4 chair turns if he is not that good. The negas don’t matter, it those who believe in him that counts.

      Delete

      Delete
    13. 4:39 may isa pa nga ang sabi e
kahit sa barangay daw si mananalo haha

      Delete

  5. good job sofronio! congratulations!!!!!!!!!

  6. Finally, may nanalo na Pinoy. Congrats Safronio, i hope maging successful ka sa US.

      Charice P.

      Delete
    2. Hindi po ba pinoy si Lea Salonga?

      Delete
    3. Isn’t Ms Lea Salonga full bloodied pinoy?

      Delete
    4. Arnel Pineda. Pero sikat yun banda hindi siya.

      Delete
    5. Lea and Charice, Yes, pero hindi lasting or consistent compared to Koreans/British/French na talagang sikat na sikat. Yong talagang may annual concerts na madaming nanonood. Yong idol/icon talaga.

      Delete
Goodluck and congrats

      Delete
    7. 5:18 SI LEA hindi lasting, consistent, idol/icon??? girl say that again, slowly.

      Delete
    8. Manny P. Para sa yo ang laban na to. Billboard yun.

      Delete
Even hollywood actors are aspiring to have one. Jusko ka

      Delete
    10. 518 pm lea hindi consistent? She had her debut on broadway 1991 and got her tony. Pero even until now visible at may may impact pa rin siya. Active pa rin siya sa broadway in fact may upcoming nga siya with Bernadette Peters

      Delete

      Delete

      Delete

  8. Congratulations Philippines.

  9. galing!!! nag taeag ng tanghalan din sya🙌

    ReplyDelete
  10. Congrats! I find his performances steady lang but when I watched yung mga kalaban nya, eh kaya naman pala. Siya naman nga ang best of them.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies

      Delete
    2. Consistent si kuya deserve nya manalo

      Delete
    3. Watch mo kasi lahat ng performances nya. Binato nga ni Jennifer Hudson heels nya kay Sofronio during the rehearsal.

      Delete
    4. 10:29 magaling magpuna ang ibang pinoy , looking down on their own. They haven’t even achieved anything.

      Delete
    5. Na-watch ko even TNT days. I meant mas madaming magaling kasi sa Pinas. Pero dun sa stage ng The Voice sya na pinakamagaling, he bested them all.

      Delete
    6. 2:54 I agree, he is the best this year but for pinoy talent there are better but that’s ok, you don’t need to be the best to be successful.

I wonder if Jej Vinson competed this time though…to me he was really a standout and Kelly gave him such terrible song choices!!

      Delete
    7. You are right@11:38. I wonder why Filipinos do that sa mga kababayan nila.

      Delete
  11. Sana magka- career sya sa US after this. Di man pinalad sa sariling bayan, baka sakaling magka-pangalan bilang dayuhan.

    1. Yun lang. Halos wala namang super notable na winners and alums ang The Voice sa US, unlike yung mga galing ng AI. Let's hope he gets a bigger break.

      Delete
    2. Agree with 11:05. Wala masyadong notable winners ang The Voice.

      Delete
    6. 8:41 jusko ano un aasa na lang sa napanalunan? common sense naman syempre magwowork pa rin yan or kkanta pa din to earn kaloka. ok na may $100K from hardwork kesa tumambay

      Delete
    7. 4:24 There is common sense and reading between the lines, but sometimes there's nothing to read when there's really nothing else to it.

  12. Sana sumikat sya internationally. Si Lea Salonga kasi sikat lang sa theatre but not as a regular singer like Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston et al.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Sorry po! Lea is not just well known in theater, but mainstream as well. Meron pong nagbayad for her to perform in a wedding.

      Delete
    2. 4:09pm pop star kasi yata ang ibig mong sabihin. Lea Salonga is not a pop star or pop singer. She is a respected broadway musical icon

      Delete
    3. Dear, you have no idea how big Lea is internationally. Di porket wala sa mainstream “lang” lang.

      Delete
    4. Backed by big labels naman kasi sina whitney and mariah before and i think theatre is huge internationally lalo na sa US, UK

      Delete

      Delete

      Delete
    7. 10:41am common sense. Mariah, whitney are pop singers. Lea salonga doesnt do pop.

      Delete
    8. 1:49 Good for you na aware ka na di naman sikat si Lea among the non-musical theater enthusiasts but other faneys are not like you kasi they really claim na super sikat si Lea and kilala every household sa US. Pamangkin nya nga na si Shay Mitchell mas madami pang followers sa kanya and take note Shay does not even follow Lea on social media. Josh Groban who does Broadway and who had Lea as his guest sa Pinas concert, eh does not even follow ky Lea sa social media.

      Delete
    9. 7:03pm halatang pop music lang alam mo. Josh groban is a mainstream singer turned broadway actor. It doesnt matter if he follows lea. Pero the likes of Lin Manuel Miranda and THE Audra McDonald- they were waaayy bigger than josh gtobsn and shay mitchelle on broadway. They follow and adore Lea

      Delete
  13. Hoping na sumikat si Sofronio as a mainstream international singer. Pinutol kasi kaagad ni Charice eh.

    1. 4:11 we cant really blame him. He's psychologically unstable dahil sa toxic leech clan nya and pressure from his fellow Pilipino.

PS. I used "He/his/him" pronoun since un ang gusto nya ipanggamit sa knya.

    2. 5:38 si charice pinaguusapan di si jake.

  14. Yung mga kalaban nya hahaha sorry di magaling angat talaga sya

    ReplyDelete
  15. congrats! but not a fan of his performance... kinda lukewarm....

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I'ts kinda lukeawarm probably because of the song choices which is heavily dependent on the TV producers and his coach. Also, limited lang ang songs na pwedeng iperform ng mga contestants kasi kailangan pa kumuha ng permission ng show from the copyright holder.

      Delete
    2. watch his blind audition and his rendition of Crying, magaling sya

      Delete
    3. Watched it.

  16. At last, long overdue. Congrats Sofronio and team Bublè.

  17. Dasurv! Congrats Sofronio.

      Delete
    7. 8:39 the judges decide if you stay or go

  21. Another winner that will be forgotten in a few months :D :D :D

    1. Lol. It's harsh but the voice admitted this themselves. They have not produced a winner that made it big like kelly clarkson or any other american idol products. The good news tho - philippines will surely welcome him with open arms and with lots of opportunities

      Delete
    2. Even so, no one can take away his victory away from him.

      Delete
    3. Marami pa rin siyang pera galing diyan.

    4. At least may napatunayan siya

  23. Magkano ang premyo? $1 Million ba like American idol?

    ReplyDelete

Congrats!

  28. Yung mga nega dito, may masabi lang. Anyway you're all in the minority. Instead of celebrating the victory of your fellow Pinoy, you put your worthless one-centavo opinion. Which is also what you're worth in this world.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Maganda boses nya and may style.

Pinaghirapan nya yan. Daming contest ang pinagdaanan. Hindi tumigil kahit natatalo noon. How difficult is it to just say “congratulations,” instead speaking about other people who are not relevant to his win?

    ReplyDelete
  32. what you haters dont get is that he opened doors and opportunities for Pinoys/Asians/nonAmericans in this arena. that is a big deal. pwede pala manalo. maybe this is a start for other lahi to appreciate Pinoy talents hindi yung hanggang YouTube reaction vids lang talents natin.

  33. isa ako sa nagagalingan sa kanya lalo na dun sa rendition nya ng Crying. congrats Sofronio! he is so loved by The Voice US judges and fans at and sobrang proud si MB sa kanya! good vibes lang. All the best sayo!

  35. Di pa man nag-uumpisa career ni Sofronio, andami ng talangka. Whether he makes it or not, for sure he will be granted a permanent US visa. Pwede nya gamitin yung extraordinary ability to get a U.S. visa and practice his dentistry.
