ReplyDelete1. The audio, it was overlapping. The awardees were still speaking when the presenter resumes talking. Took a minute for them to realize and pause. Were they not hearing each other? No earpieces to help direct them live?
2. The presenters, were they not briefed? The personalities/ways with which they presented ranged from crass to clueless to super rigid and a whole lot of awkward.
3. The lighting, it was awful period.
4. The pace, how did it cross to midnight?
5. The direction, some awardess talked way too much. Too much.
6. The awards. Why were there too many "special" awards? Some with no context, hence the realtalk from VG

Ang daming aspiring artists na mga filipinos pero hindi sila kumikita dun dahil walang alam mga filipinos sa arts. Mas madami pa sanang aasensong mga filipinos who can translate singing, dancing, painting & acting into arts (not entertainment).

Next time give nyo na lang tong award show sa ABS, expert na sila sa mga ganyan. Wag sa pucho puchong prod.. Kakahiya 50th nyo pa naman. Parang yung sa Famas lang, mali-mali.

ReplyDeleteNapatunayan na sa mga past awards night ng mmff na kung may mga awards ang movie, nagiging interesado ang mga movie goers at pinapanood. Ito ngayon ang tingin ko kung bakit halos lahat ng movies may awards (yong pelikula lang ni Julia B lang ang wala.)Ang daming mga special awards eme, 4 na best picture, may special jury prize pa. But to be fair sa mga nanalo, maganda naman ang mga reviews na mga nabasa ko.
