3. hindi pa naka specify ilang percent irerefund 🤦 so anything goes. partial refund pa. dami dun madami extra nagastos makapanood lang ng concert nya. me mga galing malayong lugar at nghotel pa.

I dont agree with giving refunds to only those who requested it. It should be given to all who attended the concert. Be very careful in tagging yourselves as christians specially if you play games like this. It is unbecoming of a christian. It backfires not only to your group but to all christians that you represent.
How far along the show na ba when it was stopped? I think a partial refund would be best because what happened was unexpected & wala naman may gusto sa nangyari pero syempre hindi din masisisi ang mga nag shell out ng money to buy tickets na would want to get their money’s worth.

I think tinuloy na rin ni Gary because he did not want to disappoint the audience who were already all there in Araneta Coliseum waiting for him to come out. He was thinking of them and not himself, which is really commendable if you ask me.

Fans only want and deserve a fair outcome. They paid for and came for a full concert experience but got a sick man singing below performance level before the concert was ultimately cut short. I think everyone was understanding of Gary’s situation on the day itself but that doesnt mean fans weren’t shortchanged. The last minute offer of limited gen ad tickets was not fair compensation, neither is a partial refund that fans have to beg for. No one wants Gary to compromise his health but he should learn to take better care of himself/ make better decisions wihout guilt tripping fans.

Hindi naman kailangan bumili ng ticket to spot something off with the prodiction, in the same way na hindi kailangan maging biktima ng certain injustices to speak about the said injustice. If people hadn't pressured the production by expressing their dismay, baka walang statement na ganito ngayon and the greedy just got away with it. Kung ok lang yung ganyang sistema sa mga bumili ng ticket, eh di hayaan na lang pala sila.

Some bashed Kiana mercilessly when she was just protective over her dad and was shocked at the cruel comments and insults they hurled at her Dad. It was not about the refunds, she reacted to the horrible words said against her dad.

Last Dec 2023 nagconcert din siya sa Music Museum. Ang title was "The Finale." Ngayon naman ang concert niya "One Last Time." Bakit laging their "selling point" is always his retirement? I was there sa Dec 20. Before magstart, Keana sang about 6 songs while nagsabi syang malilate magstart ang concert kasi may situation backstage. Then past 9PM tumuloy ang concert and Gary V performed around 9 songs bago nagdecide na icut short ung concert. Para kay Ma, sulit na na yung 1 hour na nagperform si Gary V. Ako din satisfied na pero kung partial refund naman, tatanggapin ko pa rin.
If you actually decided to put his health first, initial decision would have been to cancel or reschedule the concert. In a corporate world, what he went through before the concert will already make someone file for sick leave at least for that day, much more for him since a concert is physically more demanding. So, it is not logical for you to push through with the concert given GV’s state before and during the concert, and now claim that you decided to put his health first.🙄

First time I’ve heard of partial refund. Not specified percentage pa. Manila Genesis needs a crisis PR group. Ma cancel si Gary by the way you are handling this. Kiana, then this partial refund. Be proactive too. You are always reactive — in the worst way.
I applaud regine and @reginevalcasid’s team when they handled her Silver concert. They honour their promise to the audience and more. Truly a class act and no guilt tripping. She gave her audience her commitment, I will never forget. You could have done the same MANILA GENESIS, angeli and GARY V
Naalala ko tuloy concert ng Super Junior, paalis na sila ng KR airport nung nalaman nila na nawala yung father nung isang member. Tumuloy pa din sila papuntang Pinas, then on the concert day. Nagperform pa din sila mga 5-6 ballad songs then cut short ang concert. Lahat ng fans parang “uwi na kayo, kahit wag na kayo kumanta. Samahan niyo yung isang member” Then yung ticket, pinakeep nila yun na ginamit sa rescheduled concert the same year.

DeleteHindi naman kailangan bumili ng ticket to spot something off with the prodiction, in the same way na hindi kailangan maging biktima ng certain injustices to speak about the said injustice. If people hadn't pressured the production by expressing their dismay, baka walang statement na ganito ngayon and the greedy just got away with it. Kung ok lang yung ganyang sistema sa mga bumili ng ticket, eh di hayaan na lang pala sila.

ReplyDeleteI feel bad sa mga totoong nakabili ng ticket pero wala din may gusto ng ngyari. Hindi naman gusto na sumama pakiramdam. Pag performer ka kasi gusto mo isabuhay yung the show must go on. Nagkamali sila ng desisyon na ituloy pero ang squammy ng bashers. D ako naniniwala na bumili ng tickets yung mga daming hanash. Madami lng miserable ang buhay at pinipili idivert yung hate sa ibang tao

my sentiments as well when we were trying to stabilize him on Dec 23 and 24. I thought most of his fans would be just a bit patient considering the holiday season. Some bashed Kiana mercilessly when she was just protective over her dad and was shocked at the cruel comments and insults they hurled at her Dad. It was not about the refunds, she reacted to the horrible words said against her dad.

ReplyDeleteLast Dec 2023 nagconcert din siya sa Music Museum. Ang title was "The Finale." Ngayon naman ang concert niya "One Last Time." Bakit laging their "selling point" is always his retirement? Kung retired eh di magretire na kasi he is in his senior years and due to his sickness. KUNG RETIRED, OKAY NA! WAG NA GAWING NEGOSYO PA ANG RETIREMENT EVERY YEAR!

DeleteI was there sa Dec 20. Before magstart, Keana sang about 6 songs while nagsabi syang malilate magstart ang concert kasi may situation backstage. Then past 9PM tumuloy ang concert and Gary V performed around 9 songs bago nagdecide na icut short ung concert. Para kay Ma, sulit na na yung 1 hour na nagperform si Gary V. Ako din satisfied na pero kung partial refund naman, tatanggapin ko pa rin.
ReplyDeleteIf you actually decided to put his health first, initial decision would have been to cancel or reschedule the concert. In a corporate world, what he went through before the concert will already make someone file for sick leave at least for that day, much more for him since a concert is physically more demanding. So, it is not logical for you to push through with the concert given GV’s state before and during the concert, and now claim that you decided to put his health first.🙄

While Yun ibang artists, they make sure na they give their best dahil alam Nila na Ang fans nagpunta at nagbayad for a good show. Itong team Gary, baligtad. ReplyDeleteNaalala ko tuloy concert ng Super Junior, paalis na sila ng KR airport nung nalaman nila na nawala yung father nung isang member. Tumuloy pa din sila papuntang Pinas, then on the concert day. Nagperform pa din sila mga 5-6 ballad songs then cut short ang concert. Lahat ng fans parang “uwi na kayo, kahit wag na kayo kumanta. Samahan niyo yung isang member” Then yung ticket, pinakeep nila yun na ginamit sa rescheduled concert the same year.
