Your kids your rules, when in your lifetime that your decisions are swayed by what other people say ? You are just baiting us coz you want that soc med engagements ✌️
That's irresponsible. She should be making sure they're equipped for when they're adults. Life isn't a fairytale. They have a right to proper education. They can then choose to become surfers later if they want. Give them a choice, girl!
Agree din ako dito. Tamang balanse naman sana. Kailangan din ng mga bata ang structure. Yang pagiging surfer is more of the parents' dream, not theirs. At least pag well equipped sila pagtanda, they have more opportunities anong path man ang gusto nilang tahakin.
How is it irresponsible to homeschool your children? I know some people who do or did and their children are smart, well-rounded and are just as capable as other kids in traditional schools. Both have pros and cons. In homeschooling, I think it’s crucial to make an effort to have your kids interact with other children often through activities such as sports. In traditional schooling, yes, children easily develop their social skills but there’s also peer pressure, plus the pressure to fit in, and in big schools, with 30-40 students in each class, students’ individual needs are often not met. Can’t really say which one is better but I would respect any parent’s decision to either homeschool or send their child to a traditional school. Whatever works for their family.
Para syang si Iya Villania na homeschooling kuno mga kids. I just wonder how will they know the realities of life? That it's not always rainbows and butterflies. How will they teach science? Complex math? Lalo na pag na-curious na ang mga bata about the bugs and all of that? Internet lang?
well if she meant homeschooling as in homeschooling guided by DepEd, may mga modules naman yan. Or maybe she has those offered by homeschool providers, which mahal din ang tuition.
That is not how homeschooling works based on what I heard and read. To be able to homeschool your child, you need to enroll in a homeschooling program accredited by Deped. You will be provided with a curriculum that you need follow. You also need find learning materials based on that curriculum, and your child has to take a Deped exam annually to certify that the student has mastered the topics for the grade level he or she is in. Parents can also hire accredited tutors when they don’t feel comfortable teaching a certain subject. They use books too and other educational materials to supplement their learning. Medyo flawed ang perception mo sa homeschooling
i get it, sa sobrang dami ng influence outside home, parang gusto ko ding mag homeschool, kaso mahigpit dito sa EU. and besides, importante din ang social learning. yun nga lang kasi, sa truth lang, pera pera madalas ang pag aaral sa Pinas. Gastos dito, gastos doon.
Training them as surfers are not their dreams but yours Andy.

DeleteAnd she is doing just as that. Proper education? Hindi yon nagaganap sa classroom lang. Search how home schooled/ Unschooled people thrive in life.
