This is correct. Siya naman nagpush for the kids. Kids have no choice at this age to tell or say what they really want in life. I hope she does what’s best for them and not what she wants for them.
She's just letting her kids explore something that they might like later. There's nothing wrong with it. Maybe you together with your child should also explore something you both might like and can benefit both of you in the future. Don't be narrow-minded.
Your kids your rules, when in your lifetime that your decisions are swayed by what other people say ? You are just baiting us coz you want that soc med engagements ✌️
That's irresponsible. She should be making sure they're equipped for when they're adults. Life isn't a fairytale. They have a right to proper education. They can then choose to become surfers later if they want. Give them a choice, girl!
Agree din ako dito. Tamang balanse naman sana. Kailangan din ng mga bata ang structure. Yang pagiging surfer is more of the parents' dream, not theirs. At least pag well equipped sila pagtanda, they have more opportunities anong path man ang gusto nilang tahakin.
How is it irresponsible to homeschool your children? I know some people who do or did and their children are smart, well-rounded and are just as capable as other kids in traditional schools. Both have pros and cons. In homeschooling, I think it’s crucial to make an effort to have your kids interact with other children often through activities such as sports. In traditional schooling, yes, children easily develop their social skills but there’s also peer pressure, plus the pressure to fit in, and in big schools, with 30-40 students in each class, students’ individual needs are often not met. Can’t really say which one is better but I would respect any parent’s decision to either homeschool or send their child to a traditional school. Whatever works for their family.
1:47 yes, I agree that there are kids who thrive or be successful while homeschooled, but again, not all. It depends on the child. She should try other forms of education muna and not just homeschool them. She can always try mixed schooling. It always depends on the learners and also the resources provided by the home teachers. If Andi is all about pushing what she wants for them, ex to be surfers, when in fact, she doesn’t give them enough exposure to try other things or let them decide what they want when they are at a mature age, then that is not fair for the children.
You’d be surprised at the statistics of homeschooled kids (even until secondary) passing the entrance exams of top universities - mas madami sila nakakapasa. And how well they adapt to university and to the community as a whole. Well rounded mga yan.
Explore homeschooling. It may not be superior than the traditional schooling that we all grow up to but it sure has its strengths.
Huh??? Not proper education po? My kid is homeschooled kasi sakitin cya. Wala naman po kami problema as long as DEPED Accredited cya. Marami napo homeschooled ngayun.
I just wonder how will they know the realities of life? That it's not always rainbows and butterflies. How will they teach science? Complex math? Lalo na pag na-curious na ang mga bata about the bugs and all of that? Internet lang?
well if she meant homeschooling as in homeschooling guided by DepEd, may mga modules naman yan. Or maybe she has those offered by homeschool providers, which mahal din ang tuition.
That is not how homeschooling works based on what I heard and read. To be able to homeschool your child, you need to enroll in a homeschooling program accredited by Deped. You will be provided with a curriculum that you need follow. You also need find learning materials based on that curriculum, and your child has to take a Deped exam annually to certify that the student has mastered the topics for the grade level he or she is in. Parents can also hire accredited tutors when they don’t feel comfortable teaching a certain subject. They use books too and other educational materials to supplement their learning. Medyo flawed ang perception mo sa homeschooling
Hmeschooling has online classes FYI with classmates and teachers. And one popular homeschool provider ay nasa 100k ang tuition fee. Wag maliitin homeschooling na walang social life. May mga regular activities din na face to face, monthly field trips, talent shows, sports events, etc. -- homeschooling mom of 3 kids
8:32 please tell me more about what you know about home schooling? Hindi uso yung one liner contradicting without explaining. 3:40 is right anong mali sa sinabi nya? 4:56 and 1:05 explained it more. Those are facts.
O kaya sa Manila, mukhang ung best option is ihomeschool
i get it, sa sobrang dami ng influence outside home, parang gusto ko ding mag homeschool, kaso mahigpit dito sa EU. and besides, importante din ang social learning. yun nga lang kasi, sa truth lang, pera pera madalas ang pag aaral sa Pinas. Gastos dito, gastos doon.
A no to? masabi mo lang nasa Europe ka? 3:48.
At their young age, they are intelligent, disciplined, well-grounded, diligent, happy, and smart. Matured at their age. They also interact with kids. of different nationalities, Dahil. Siargao is home to more foreigners. They also enjoy both province and city life. They are only 4 and 5 years old. What Andi wants is for their kid not to experience peer pressure in an ordinary school but rather to enjoy being kids at the same time, learning both academics at a young age, Mother is the first and best teacher of children. Even Our National Hero Jose Rizal's first teacher was his mother. Andi homeschools her children because she can do so; she is intelligent, smart, and patient. Mind your own life and be sure to perfect ang buhay nyo bago kayo kumuda ng nega.
Ang peperfect talaga ng mga pinoy! Hayaan nyo sya! Anak and buhay nya yan! Homeschool or not as long as her kids are enjoying!
Homeschool children are far more ahead with their studies than public schools. Homeschool teachers can focus with their students. As for social skills, they do have field trips and meet-ups with other homeschool students. The parents can let their child to attend whatever kind of extra-curricular activities their child wants like karate, music, etc.
Training them as surfers are not their dreams but yours Andy.
