  13. We're a very forgiving audience. Usually pansin ko lang, there's usually only one defining moment in a filipino movie - yung isang scene na pinaghandaan or iniyakan ng todo. Highlight kumbaga but the rest of the movie is garbage, cringey, minadali and awkward. Yun lang.

    1. Ano yan?
Observation in general of Filipino movies and Filipino viewers or just this movie?
Nakakahiya naman sayo kung in general of Filipino movies, good you voice it out for constructive criticism pero wag ka rin too quick too judge, Bka yung choices ng movies mo rin ang dapat mo Maayos.

    2. General yan. Fil films in general are cringey and disappointing. Huli na tayo. Di natin ma-achieve ang quality and storytelling like other Asian countries - not just KR, even TH, ID and IN films lumelevel up. Fil - always linear ang storyline. Acting - exagg walang subtle. Makeup - also exagg or halatang makeup kahit fairy ang role halata na naka-blush on, lip gloss, at blue eye shadow yung fairy - not naturally fairy. Mahirap na role - naka makeup pa rin with eyelash extensions. And the wigs. Camera - high-def even in stories that need a bit of dim/gloom and when they do use one for dim, sobrang dilim wala ng makita.
So these. new ones. I’ll just wait sa mga streaming platforms.

  16. Bakit sa iba hindi nagagalingan sa kanya jan? Ok naman eh. Minsan din corny mag joke si Bossing pero sa totoong buhay seryoso sya diba.

  17. Just watched the movie. Bossing was good but he was especially great in the dramatic moments with his children in the film. Kudos to Mike Tuviera! Great film, sulit ang price ng ticket.

  18. Watched it at Rockwell today. Cinema was filled to the rafters sa earliest showing pa lang. I like the movie a lot except for the acting of the babaylan. Hysterics, but no depth.

Saw Marco Gumabao afterwards—wala lang, namention ko lang kasi we were talking about Cristine when he passed by us. Mestizo (or at least mestisuhin) pala siya in person.
