DeleteWe should stop blaming the owners of pageants pag di nakakapasok ang candidates natin. Like sa Miss Grand tlaga namang angat si Miss India kaya nanalo siya. Catriona was a league of her own maski magaling ang Top 5 nila noon, walang tapon.
Hanggat minomold nila mga candidates natin na mala-Shamsey at naniniwala na sa tamang panahon daw magpi-peak at may pasabog, wag na umasa. Dapat sa simula pa lang napapansin na ang candidate and let her determine how she wants to present herself sa pageant.

ReplyDeleteCat is pretty, but I find her hosting a little annoying. Medyo overacting, the tone (sakit sa tenga ng boses, parang sa showtime), and looks so fake yung mga lines nya, while the rest of the girls, modulated ang voice and not overly acting ang mga facial reactions.

ReplyDeletePag nakayo mukhang Christmas ornament yung crown. Oo na rare at mamahalin tung South Sea pearls but pwede naman i design na hindi mukhang pang merry Christmas. Nagawa naman ng Mikimoto crown yun.
ReplyDeleteI'm part Thai, and I grew up in Thailand. Thais are kind but many are also insecure, it doesn't matter what status of life they are in. I'm afraid every year Thailand will have a place, not because the representative is good but it's part of the "contract.". Oth, Filipinos also should acknowledge that the last few candidates aren't as strong and have great stage presence. Pia and Catriona had overwhelming stage presence, most especially the latter. Si Chelsea, sa print ads magaling but on stage not so much. Sadly, basado ko na galawan ni Ann...very sly yan. She would put Thailand in runner up position then Ms.Universe na. Kala nya siguro it won't be noticeable, even my Thai side of the family know it. Kaya unless Philippines would send someone close to Catriona, the possibilities of winning MU again is really low. It's now corrupted by the owner who clearly has a huge inferiority complex over Filipinas. Many Thais don't like Ann FYI, not because of MU thing but her behavior overall.
