Something to ponder about.

    1. Truly. Ang mahal kaya ng home-based medical services!

    2. True. And honestly mas comfortable ako to have it done sa hospital para kumpleto sa staff and gamit just in case kailangan ng troubleshooting. Sinabay ko din sa day of checkup with the OB so hindi sayang punta. Hindi rin maganda experience ko with a med tech na home service blood extraction (not for OGTT). Nung height ng lockdown may sakit baby ko and we opted to have CBC extraction done at home para hindi sya exposed sa hospital. I'm a doctor but specialty ko is not directly involved with kids and blood extractions kaya nahirapan din ako. I did let him try to do his job at first but I saw that he was struggling and parang mas kaya ko.

  6. Required ba yang test or as requested by the doctor? And i found out I had gestational diabetes. After giving birth, inulit ko ang test para malaman kung tumuloy na ako nas diabetic or hindi.

    1. If may family history or feel ng OB na prone ang mom sa diabetes pwedeng i-request ng doctor yan. Some naman don't require it.

    2. Standard yan pag alagang OB. But syempre pag sa lying in ka nagpapa check up wala yan.

  7. Just because you can do it at home doesn't mean afford din ng iba na magpa-home OGTT test. Mahal na nga yan sa hospital how much more sa bahay.

    1. Di naman niya inuutusan mga tao to do it at home. Do you even realize that that’s a reflection of your outlook in life?

  8. 2x CS ako and yung mga nirereklamo ng mga jontis at manganganak like ito, yung epidural and yung sakit ng pag-heal ng tahi hindi ko naman ininda nang todo. May mali ata sa akin xD

  9. Routine test lang naman yan. Baka sa Pinas hinde, dahil walang budget, pero sa advanced countries, it’s routine, nothing crazy, and you don’t label your pregnancy as “hard” dahil magtake ka ng test na yan. Masyadong pabida, she surely has it easier than other mothers na ilang beses nakunan at sobrang selan magbuntis, yung iba na icu pa after manganak. In this age, where we are more aware of other people’s struggles bec of social media, this post is insensitive.
