    6. 11:44 pm. True I’m from Canada. That is disrespectful to their culture. They are worn only by those who have earned the right and given honor by their people. Each feather is earned. It’s sacred to them. While Daniel is free to wear anything there’s this thing called respect.

    1. 12:14am it is not a costume. it’s an important piece in North America’s indigenous people’s culture. part of the reconciliation process between the “colonizers” and the First Nations group here are to stop using indigenous names in sports teams, locating the unmarked graves of victims of the residential school systems, monetary compensations, (and many more) even the use of these “headdresses” are already considered to be wrong.

      Delete

    3. Kung ganun pala na bawal sana pala hindi yan available to own or purchase or borrow everytime you obtain sana may nakalagay please avoid taking picture of self wearing the gear.explanation background respect chu chu etc. for whatever ocassion or sana ginawa na lang exclusive na pang museum lang.

Hindi lahat based sa Canada and hindi nya yan ginawa kung saan nanggaling yung tribo which is dito sa
Pilipinas na hindi naman pinaggslingan ng tribo karamihan naman hindi aware sa background nyan at nakikita lang din sa iba as costume sa mga TV shows Movies or music. Kung nakatira kayo sa Canada Edi wow sa inyo may training kayo sa awareness and sensitivity dyan common yan pero DITO HINDI. mas common as costume and you and I know hindi nya yan ginawa out of disrespect .

      Or paano makuha:

      Delete
    4. 10:33 for indigenous people, yes dahil ayaw nila na may magsusuot mg kanilang damit na walang paabiso from them.

      Delete

      Delete
    3. I think sa school activities po, costumes are donned for educational purposes and the students are actually representing a group, but as a costume for halloween, if this is his purpose for wearing the head dress it's inappropriate and can be offensive because it's might be an symbol of their traditions, parang Filipiniana and barong natin

Siguro it's high time for us Filipinos to learn also how to respect other cultures kasi pag tayo ang ginawan ng ganyan, it might not sit well on us also

      Delete
    4. kaya nga super low ng educational system ng pinas. basta lang maka costume without even knowing the history behind it. that headdress is sacred to the indigenous people, it represents their status in the native community, like a chief, a priest etc.

      Delete
    5. 1:02 ikaw na nga nasabi may event na UN and representing other countries. Hindi photo op for IG para ipost at ipang emo.

      Delete

      Delete
    7. Native Americans are especially sensitive that their heritage is being used as costumes. Parang tayo na Pinoy, pag ginawang costume yung Sto Nino or kahit na ano kay Hesucristo ganun yung feeling for them. Any kind of protest were quashed by Madison Ave publicity back then and perpetuated to this day.

      Delete
    8. 803 for compliance and yong mga student and guro nag photo op din.

      Delete
    9. 8:00 korak! And those head dress are not authentic.Obviously it's a head dress made and designed for costumes only. so anong pinagpuputok ng butse mo na as if nakapatay na ng mga Indians yong nagsuot?!

    3. 10:34 i hope you read your post. There's a reason for twearing the culture in school.

      Delete
Napaka shallow ng reason na Yan na there is reason for wearing. Obviously these teachers and students flexes the costumes Kaya naglilipana sa FB at IG mga costume na pang UN pag UN Day!

You'd think so exists for your idol who had limited knowledge of other culture. Madali naman mag research.

    6. Native Americans have been saying for AGES that their headdress is not a mere costume but y'all don't want to listen. It's a symbol of leadership that a person has to earn to wear. You're not part of their culture so it's not up to you to decide that it's not disrespectful for some rando to wear it.

      Delete
  16. You can't don that headress if you're not a native american warrior.
