Mga kasabayan nilang movies thousands ang theater or cinema. Yun po ang point ni 2:30. Sana po naliwanagan kayo. Basahin nyo po

    5. I watched it yesterday here in the Eastern US. If you blink for a couple seconds, you will miss the happenings sa movie. As in ma confuse ka kasi they jump from present to like a few years back, and vice versa.

It's still a great movie, very relatable.

      Delete
    6. 12:29 mas ok yun kc you’re always at the edge of your seat than knowing or predictable what will happen next

      Delete
    7. Siguro iba lang ang expectations natin. Maganda yung HLG pero mabigat and sad kasi ang ending. Nagustuhan ko ang HLA kasi light and fun lang, nakasmile ako most of the movie. Ganun ang vibes na gusto ko.

    2. 1251 itigil na po natin ang crab mentality. Hinihila kapwa pinoy pababa kaya walang asenso. Naka angat na nga hihilain pa. Sama! Mahirap bang maging supportive i maging masaya man lang? Kapwa mo pinoy yan. Buti nga nagdala ng karangalan.

      Delete

      Delete
    5. What makes it baduy? Because it's a Filipino Film? I watched the film and I honestly can say that although the story is your typical Filipino story the cinematography of the film was crisp and clean, the story flow was consistent, and the acting (from all the actors) was above mediocre. I went to watch the film with a slight negative view of Filipino films. After watching the film, I left with satisfaction because I did not feel that my money was wasted. Although I had wanted the film to really be more complex, I realized that this really was just a love story film and not meant to be as complex. So, it was on par with other USA romantic films. It's not "baduy" for me.

      Delete

      Amaccana.

    8. Whats baduy ba? FYI di ko pa napanood both HLG and eto pero mahirap ba maging happy nalang?

    12. Whether you liked this movie or not, we shills celebrate its success because this shows the power of the Asian/Filipino moviegoer and can get more of our stories told, and more of our actors hired, in the U.S.

      Delete
    2. Sorry but they need to have solo project next. Wag na natin ikulong sina Alden and Kath sa loveteam. We should let them grow.

      Delete
    3. @1:44PM... They can grow naman, together, in Films/Dramas that shows their acting prowess. Why is everyone so hateful towards Love Teams? There is nothing wrong with it. At the end of the day, it really depends on the type of Film/Drama. For example, I have never felt that Judy Ann was boxed in a Love Team. Her acting was always shining and being in a Love Team has never diminished it. People are just so quick to ride the bandwagon of Love Team hating. What matters is the type of Film/Drama... even if they were together.

      Delete
    4. wag na muna. as a fan, i want Alden to work with other actors naman like Dennis Trillo or Dingdong. like psycho thriller films ganon

Tiba tiba ang SC and GMA Pictures nito.

      Delete
    6. Malamang. But a lot of movies don't even make it to 10 in US & Canada. And yet, a Filipino film made it with only 248 cinemas. I know you're hurting foryour idol but if you continuewith your hateful and nega comments, it'll boomerang on your idol. Karma is real.

      Delete
    7. Bakit ang credits puro lang ke Kathryn. Puede ba, madami din fans si Alden. Btw, sino na naman sikat na lalaki ang ipartner ke Kathryn after this maka blockbuster lang. Its obvious, she cannot make it on her own.

      Delete

      Delete
    9. 2:40 Naisingit mo pa rin yan baks??? Hahahaha!

      Delete
    10. @240 - Both are A-listers and top talents of their networks. Kaya nga successful ang collab na to because support are coming from the 2 networks at ang casuals are from kapuso and kapamilya talaga. So no, we should not discredit Alden nor Kathryn. Together, they break records as in phenomenal records and di kayang gawin yon ng isa lang sa kanila. Only network tards ang mahilig mag discredit and bilang lang sa kamay ang mga yon (less than 10 people) and they don't matter to be honest. Casuals viewers ang nagmamatter dito

      Delete
    11. @2:40AM... Yes, it was the both of them, but give credit where it's due as well. Whether you like it or not, it's ALMOST always the female actress and whom she has chemistry with which carries a popular Filipino Film. Two great example is Judy Ann Santos and Sharon Cuneta. They have been paired with other men and as long as they have chemistry with the male lead, the film becomes a hit. Also, not to belittle Alden Richards, but Kathryn has had loyal fans since she was young; from Going Bulilit, Mara Clara, and such. If you know Filipino Movie / Dramas... you would know that it's harder to find a successful female pair for a guy vs. a guy pair for a female.

      Delete

      Delete

      Delete
    15. @3:49PM Parang hindi naman insulto yon. Known naman na mas-madaling i-pair up ang female vs. a guy sa isang love team. Parang si Juday lang, Sharon, etc.

      Delete
    16. 2:14 Oo, lilipas kagaya mo.

    17. 847 Alden's movie with Maine, Julia was a hit. In fact, same lang ng kinita ng AVGG ang kita ng movie nina Alden/Julia. So no, your statement is wrong. Do not forget na Alden came from a phenomenal Aldub loveteam na nagpataob sa lahat ng LTs sa ABS including your bias KathNiel. fact yan ante ok.

    3. Same here sa NYC, AMC 34th St when we booked our tickets, nasa 4 pm & 7 pm lang screen times ng Nov. 15. Tpos bigla nadagdagan ng 4-5 more screen times that day. Grabe ang support sa movie na to.

  19. If you compute per cinema, mas malaki pa nga kinita nya sa number 1 na movie.. I’m one of those who watched (alone nga lang, hirap maghanap ng true friends dito), and when I bought my ticket, last seat na ung nabili ko. It’s a feel good movie, which I needed badly after a day I had. Went home happy!

There was a filipino movie that i watched in the past and i had to drive almost or more than an hour to watch it in Maryland.

  23. Ang daming Pinoy n nanood dto s Bay Area. Nanood kami ng family ko last night & we love the movie. Ang galing ng KathDen. Super funny ni Joross. D rin papahuli c Jennica & Val. Congratulations Alden & Kathryn & HLA team!

    ReplyDelete
  24. IMHO, it was better than the first one and their portrayal, also more convincing. However, the ending of this one was a bit too predictable for me, although I guess that's how romcoms go which this one ultimately is, albeit with more drama? As far as emotional impact, I don't have a lot of Filipino films to compare with, but two outstanding ones for me that surpassed this are older - the Aga-Lea OFW one and the Richard Gomez, Dawn Zulueta and Eric Quizon. But this was good. I like both main actors and Joross was very effective. It might just be a matter much of taste.

    1. i agree. Hello Love Again has a very realistic approach at ang ganda ng time transition nila.

Hello Love Goodbye was told in a linear approach because the two main characters was in a getting to know stage type of love story. Sabi pa ni Kath, Boy meets Girl type of love story ng first movie, kaya mas madali siya.

Hello Love Again has a raw approach with realistic view of the couple struggles over the years using a time transition approach. I love it because it is so relatable and this is what' happened to me in the US as an OFW. Parang nag-level up sila dito lahat in terms of story telling and approach.

  25. Wow!

    Congratulations, Kathryn & Alden!
Well deserved success! The movie was really good and you were both amazing! ❤️

Filipinos should support and patronize local films first.

    1. Marian and Dingdong's movie reached 1 Billion after 1 month (4 weeks).

Hello, Love, Again already reached 670 Million in just 5 days alone (excluding the international ticket sales).

Kaya siguradong sigurado na mababawi na nina Kathryn and Alden yung highest grossing film of all time title na sila rin naman ang may hawak 5 years ago for Hello, Love, Goodbye before Rewind happened last year. ❤️

    3. 1.2B Pesos Worldwide is the earnings for Rewind, which was also shown during the Metro Manila Film Fest; wherein movies tend to earn more than usual. Currently, with International earnings, HLA had already reached 700Mil. It's still not completely available in other countries where the opening begins 11/21. So, yah... it will surpass it.

    1. Magkaiba nga sila ng generation di ba?

    2. Wala pang solo movie si Kath na malaki kita like pag may ka loveteam or kung kasama si Alden. Matagal din promo nila pag kay Kathryn at joint venture parati abs at gma.

      Delete
    3. I want to see Kathryn doing a movie without a famous partner. Something totally different. Her films are just making money due to a famous partner too.

      Delete
    4. 2:45 solo siya sa next movie niya for next year.

      Delete
    6. 2.18 Both Alden and Kathryn lost half of their fans when KN and Alden separate. Accept the fact that Kathryn is loved by the casuals. Do you think 670m in just 5 days all because of their fans?
2.45 Kathryn already did AVGG (dark theme) which is still earn more than 100M and with that gross she was crowned as BOQ last year.

    7. 2:45 nakagawa na sya yung movie nya na isa with Dolly yung medyo dark - A Bery Good Girl.

    8. @2:44 I think kumita naman ang very good girl di lang malaki kasi knowing sa market ng Pilipinas maa supprted talaga ang movies na may mga partners, I think ang need ni Kath is to havw at least an Urian yun ang kulang.

      Delete
    9. 2.45 AVGG grossed more than 100m. Three Words to Forever, Kath as second lead grossed more than 100m. And wait for Elena in 2025, I'm sure it will be (once again) surpass 100m.

    10. 2:45 demanding for someone who is just hoping for her to fail! Also, nag Avgg na sya... she won awards for that and a box office queen award aswell.

    11. What about A Very Good Girl? I think di na need. Lahat ng leading ladies dumaan sa love team, from Ms Nora to Ms Vilma, Sharon, Juday, Claudine Bea, etc. Maybe when she’s older Pero wala naman masama kung may ka partner. Di nya need patunayan sarılı Nya. She’s up there na :D

    14. 2:45 but she's the common denominator. Her AVGG made people go back to the theaters after Covid even if it's PG-13 it was still a hit. Dito talaga obvious yung low key hater.

This is the first joint collab between GMA and SC for Kath & Alden. SC lang yung HLG. But do continue hating.

    16. 1:50 Magkaiba sila ng time. Bea during her time, at 19 years old BOQ na. Bea also proved many times na independent sya at magaling talaga. Walang sumunod kay Bea sa totoo lang

  46. Was reading Breitbart's box office list and did a double take reading HLA. In the US so far it's $2.3m (multiply by peso value) currently ranked 8th this week. Amazing to see a Pinoy title enter that considering it is always Hwood movies that enter ours. Good job HLA team!!!

Give where the crwsit is due! Don't give all the credit to kathryn.

    1. Truthfully, the story is a typical story. You are right. But, I'm not even a fan and I definitely felt that they didn't skimp budget on this movie. It's worth a watch, because unlike majority of RomCom Filipino movies, this had a very nice cinematography, all the actors were good at their acting, and the story just flowed. It's not as complex, yes... but, it's a RomCom. It's worth a watch naman.

    2. For me lang naman to, it was not overhyped. I don't know what expectations you had when you watched it, but I was satisfied with the movie. I may not have liked the complexity of the story, but I felt that I didn't waste my money watching it in the theaters. There were definitely cliches, but those were to be expected. It's a RomCom.
