12:14 im not 2:30 pero tama siya 248 theaters in US. Ayan asa taas. Basahin mong mabuti po. We are talking about US po kase pasok sila top 10 na malaki kinita sa US. Mga kasabayan nilang movies thousands ang theater or cinema. Yun po ang point ni 2:30. Sana po naliwanagan kayo. Basahin nyo po
1055 kapwa Pinoy nagtagumpay sa ibang bansa? No! Were not like that. Or khit ano pang tagumpay. We celebrate success of others. Ikaw o kayo lang yon. Magbago na po tayo please.
I like Alden but not Kath, so I didnt watch the first and this second one. Pero grabe nmn yang gnyang reaction apaka bitter.
I watched it yesterday here in the Eastern US. If you blink for a couple seconds, you will miss the happenings sa movie. As in ma confuse ka kasi they jump from present to like a few years back, and vice versa.
Siguro iba lang ang expectations natin. Maganda yung HLG pero mabigat and sad kasi ang ending. Nagustuhan ko ang HLA kasi light and fun lang, nakasmile ako most of the movie. Ganun ang vibes na gusto ko.
1251 itigil na po natin ang crab mentality. Hinihila kapwa pinoy pababa kaya walang asenso. Naka angat na nga hihilain pa. Sama! Mahirap bang maging supportive i maging masaya man lang? Kapwa mo pinoy yan. Buti nga nagdala ng karangalan.
What makes it baduy? Because it's a Filipino Film? I watched the film and I honestly can say that although the story is your typical Filipino story the cinematography of the film was crisp and clean, the story flow was consistent, and the acting (from all the actors) was above mediocre. I went to watch the film with a slight negative view of Filipino films. After watching the film, I left with satisfaction because I did not feel that my money was wasted. Although I had wanted the film to really be more complex, I realized that this really was just a love story film and not meant to be as complex. So, it was on par with other USA romantic films. It's not "baduy" for me.
Whether you liked this movie or not, we shills celebrate its success because this shows the power of the Asian/Filipino moviegoer and can get more of our stories told, and more of our actors hired, in the U.S.
@1:44PM... They can grow naman, together, in Films/Dramas that shows their acting prowess. Why is everyone so hateful towards Love Teams? There is nothing wrong with it. At the end of the day, it really depends on the type of Film/Drama. For example, I have never felt that Judy Ann was boxed in a Love Team. Her acting was always shining and being in a Love Team has never diminished it. People are just so quick to ride the bandwagon of Love Team hating. What matters is the type of Film/Drama... even if they were together.
2:14 Bitter much! FYI first time na nasali ang Filipino movie dyan. Hindi na kailangan ni Kathryn mag Hollywood para masama sa US Top movies of the week list!
Malamang. But a lot of movies don't even make it to 10 in US & Canada. And yet, a Filipino film made it with only 248 cinemas. I know you're hurting foryour idol but if you continuewith your hateful and nega comments, it'll boomerang on your idol. Karma is real.
Bakit ang credits puro lang ke Kathryn. Puede ba, madami din fans si Alden. Btw, sino na naman sikat na lalaki ang ipartner ke Kathryn after this maka blockbuster lang. Its obvious, she cannot make it on her own.
@240 - Both are A-listers and top talents of their networks. Kaya nga successful ang collab na to because support are coming from the 2 networks at ang casuals are from kapuso and kapamilya talaga. So no, we should not discredit Alden nor Kathryn. Together, they break records as in phenomenal records and di kayang gawin yon ng isa lang sa kanila. Only network tards ang mahilig mag discredit and bilang lang sa kamay ang mga yon (less than 10 people) and they don't matter to be honest. Casuals viewers ang nagmamatter dito
@2:40AM... Yes, it was the both of them, but give credit where it's due as well. Whether you like it or not, it's ALMOST always the female actress and whom she has chemistry with which carries a popular Filipino Film. Two great example is Judy Ann Santos and Sharon Cuneta. They have been paired with other men and as long as they have chemistry with the male lead, the film becomes a hit. Also, not to belittle Alden Richards, but Kathryn has had loyal fans since she was young; from Going Bulilit, Mara Clara, and such. If you know Filipino Movie / Dramas... you would know that it's harder to find a successful female pair for a guy vs. a guy pair for a female.
847 Alden's movie with Maine, Julia was a hit. In fact, same lang ng kinita ng AVGG ang kita ng movie nina Alden/Julia. So no, your statement is wrong. Do not forget na Alden came from a phenomenal Aldub loveteam na nagpataob sa lahat ng LTs sa ABS including your bias KathNiel. fact yan ante ok.
Punuan sinehan dito sa US.
Wow!!! Considering na sa piling sinehan lang ito showing sa US meaning iilan lang unlike other movies na lahat ng sinehan and they still made it to top 10. Top 8 pa. Congrats! Iba ang Pinoy kapag nagsuportahan talaga. Sana tuloy tuloy na yan. Thank You po Lord You truly bless good people.
That movie was only supposed to be showing here in the midwest state where I am at 7pm since Wednesday but the cinema added more showtimes kasi ang daming nanonood, 1pm, 3pm, 5pm and 7pm. Weekend even had showing all the way to 10pm. I didn't even know na ganito pala kadami Filipino dito sa amin.
6:26 I saw some but I can't tell if they're spouses or family members of Pinoys here. Yung timeslot namin is 21 and over kasi alcoholic drinks are served and it's almost full.
Same here sa NYC, AMC 34th St when we booked our tickets, nasa 4 pm & 7 pm lang screen times ng Nov. 15. Tpos bigla nadagdagan ng 4-5 more screen times that day. Grabe ang support sa movie na to.
If you compute per cinema, mas malaki pa nga kinita nya sa number 1 na movie.. I’m one of those who watched (alone nga lang, hirap maghanap ng true friends dito), and when I bought my ticket, last seat na ung nabili ko. It’s a feel good movie, which I needed badly after a day I had. Went home happy!
There was a filipino movie that i watched in the past and i had to drive almost or more than an hour to watch it in Maryland.
Nanood kami ng family ko last night & we love the movie. Ang galing ng KathDen. Super funny ni Joross. D rin papahuli c Jennica & Val. Congratulations Alden & Kathryn & HLA team!
IMHO, it was better than the first one and their portrayal, also more convincing. However, the ending of this one was a bit too predictable for me, although I guess that's how romcoms go which this one ultimately is, albeit with more drama? As far as emotional impact, I don't have a lot of Filipino films to compare with, but two outstanding ones for me that surpassed this are older - the Aga-Lea OFW one and the Richard Gomez, Dawn Zulueta and Eric Quizon. But this was good. I like both main actors and Joross was very effective. It might just be a matter much of taste.
i agree. Hello Love Again has a very realistic approach at ang ganda ng time transition nila.
Hello Love Goodbye was told in a linear approach because the two main characters was in a getting to know stage type of love story. Sabi pa ni Kath, Boy meets Girl type of love story ng first movie, kaya mas madali siya.
Hello Love Again has a raw approach with realistic view of the couple struggles over the years using a time transition approach. I love it because it is so relatable and this is what' happened to me in the US as an OFW. Parang nag-level up sila dito lahat in terms of story telling and approach.
Wow, hopefully it dethrones Rewind sa box office ranking this weekend. That Marian Dingdong movie is so meh I don’t know how it even got that much sa box office.
Same! Yung HLG you know kasi na may clamor for it nung nag showing before.
agree thats my goal, for some reason d ako fan nila yon anak ko as since super inggo kaya im happy for kathryn, kaya i promote it s mga kakilala ko dito s US, daming alam din alam abt this movie esp yon d nag TFC or facebbok.
6.23 Just because they do sequel you call them LT agad? And bitter about that? They don't have series together or pretend to be lover. They are just doing sequel after 5 years.
Marian and Dingdong's movie reached 1 Billion after 1 month (4 weeks).
Hello, Love, Again already reached 670 Million in just 5 days alone (excluding the international ticket sales).
Kaya siguradong sigurado na mababawi na nina Kathryn and Alden yung highest grossing film of all time title na sila rin naman ang may hawak 5 years ago for Hello, Love, Goodbye before Rewind happened last year. ❤️
1.2B Pesos Worldwide is the earnings for Rewind, which was also shown during the Metro Manila Film Fest; wherein movies tend to earn more than usual. Currently, with International earnings, HLA had already reached 700Mil. It's still not completely available in other countries where the opening begins 11/21. So, yah... it will surpass it.
Kahit dito sa Pinas pahirapan until now manuod sobrang blockbuster ๐๐๐ Paano pa kaya if official MMFF entry yan baka naka 3B pa yang HLA.
wala pa UK dyan.kaya malamang aabot eto ng 1B.antay kami sa weekend.marami na akong friends sa US at pinas nag sabi na maganda.so far 1 pa lang na film nagustuhan ko yung anak ni vilma at claudine.the rest okay lang sa taste ko.
They are just happy na finally we are past the pandemic curse. Try mo maging grateful kesa magpaka nega. It feels good to be good to people sometimes.
1:36 you're not even in the US nor Canada to even assume all those who watched attended a block screening. And if they do, they still paid money for the tickets. Focus on ur idol's career.
@10:57AM Parang you have so much hate in your heart to rationally see that people don't just give away their money. People work hard to earn their money. So, when they do spend their money on anything... it's because they like it. I think you need to see a doctor. You have some emotional issues.
Wala pang solo movie si Kath na malaki kita like pag may ka loveteam or kung kasama si Alden. Matagal din promo nila pag kay Kathryn at joint venture parati abs at gma.
I want to see Kathryn doing a movie without a famous partner. Something totally different. Her films are just making money due to a famous partner too.
2:45 solo siya sa next movie niya for next year. ๐
2.18 Both Alden and Kathryn lost half of their fans when KN and Alden separate. Accept the fact that Kathryn is loved by the casuals. Do you think 670m in just 5 days all because of their fans? 2.45 Kathryn already did AVGG (dark theme) which is still earn more than 100M and with that gross she was crowned as BOQ last year.
2:45 nakagawa na sya yung movie nya na isa with Dolly yung medyo dark - A Bery Good Girl.
2.45 AVGG grossed more than 100m. Three Words to Forever, Kath as second lead grossed more than 100m. And wait for Elena in 2025, I'm sure it will be (once again) surpass 100m.
What about A Very Good Girl? I think di na need. Lahat ng leading ladies dumaan sa love team, from Ms Nora to Ms Vilma, Sharon, Juday, Claudine Bea, etc. Maybe when she’s older Pero wala naman masama kung may ka partner. Di nya need patunayan sarฤฑlฤฑ Nya. She’s up there na :D
2:45 but she's the common denominator. Her AVGG made people go back to the theaters after Covid even if it's PG-13 it was still a hit. Dito talaga obvious yung low key hater.
This is the first joint collab between GMA and SC for Kath & Alden. SC lang yung HLG. But do continue hating.
1:50 Magkaiba sila ng time. Bea during her time, at 19 years old BOQ na. Bea also proved many times na independent sya at magaling talaga. Walang sumunod kay Bea sa totoo lang
Was reading Breitbart's box office list and did a double take reading HLA. In the US so far it's $2.3m (multiply by peso value) currently ranked 8th this week. Amazing to see a Pinoy title enter that considering it is always Hwood movies that enter ours. Good job HLA team!!!
Give where the crwsit is due! Don't give all the credit to kathryn.
About 4 hours away from london yun.
Korek!! They need to add more cinemas… malayo ang Manchester.. i feel you sis gusto ko din ng feel good movie… sana dito ulit sa vue shepherds bush like sa HLG
Truthfully, the story is a typical story. You are right. But, I'm not even a fan and I definitely felt that they didn't skimp budget on this movie. It's worth a watch, because unlike majority of RomCom Filipino movies, this had a very nice cinematography, all the actors were good at their acting, and the story just flowed. It's not as complex, yes... but, it's a RomCom. It's worth a watch naman.
For me lang naman to, it was not overhyped. I don't know what expectations you had when you watched it, but I was satisfied with the movie. I may not have liked the complexity of the story, but I felt that I didn't waste my money watching it in the theaters. There were definitely cliches, but those were to be expected. It's a RomCom.
Were you expecting no.1? Not sure enough ang ofw community to bring that up and i dont think pinoy movies are really for the general american public's taste.
Kasi nga po it's the very first time a Filipino Movie was able to reach that milestone, ever. We are talking about a Foreign territory. It actually reached Top 10! Filipinos feel genuinely proud because it shows how huge Filipino support could be.
Watched this yesterday, pinoys lang ang tao sa sine i mean sa buong sine walang ibang nanood and puno kaya sa front kami. I liked the movie and ang ganda pala ni kathryn bernardo
Congratulations Team HLA๐๐๐ป

ReplyDeleteI live in LA and have never seen a Filipino film get a wide release in theaters here like a typical Hollywood movie. I really enjoyed it!
ReplyDeleteSame here in Vegas. I was surprised to see that it was showing in multiple cinemas. I also enjoyed the movie, I actually want to watch it again
DeleteEh di wow!
ReplyDeleteAng pait baks!... Hahaha. Mas mapait pag inabot ng billion pesos yan, at di malayong mangyari.. Haha
Delete1228 masakit ba? Ganyan talaga pag inggetera. Iwasan ang mainggit bad yan for your health.
DeleteWala na kayo masabi kase US na yan. Lol

ReplyDeleteCan’t wait to see the film
ReplyDeleteThe movie is very underwhelming for me. I still like Hello Love Goodbye
ReplyDelete1245 both beautiful for me
Deletemarami nga nagsabi…
DeleteMas nagagandahan naman ako sa HLA kesa sa HLG for me lang naman ha
DeleteFor me naman baliktad. Mas gusto ko ang Hello, Love, Again.
DeleteI watched it yesterday here in the Eastern US. If you blink for a couple seconds, you will miss the happenings sa movie. As in ma confuse ka kasi they jump from present to like a few years back, and vice versa.
DeleteIt's still a great movie, very relatable.
12:29 mas ok yun kc you’re always at the edge of your seat than knowing or predictable what will happen next
DeleteSiguro iba lang ang expectations natin. Maganda yung HLG pero mabigat and sad kasi ang ending. Nagustuhan ko ang HLA kasi light and fun lang, nakasmile ako most of the movie.

DeleteAmaccana.
Whats baduy ba? FYI di ko pa napanood both HLG and eto pero mahirap ba maging happy nalang?
DeleteNakakahiya tong commenter nato
DeleteI'm sure kung yung idol nya ang nasa movie, 12:51 would say it's classy and relevant, etc. Mahirap talaga nabubuhay sa inggit at hatred ano.

DeleteWhether you liked this movie or not, we shills celebrate its success because this shows the power of the Asian/Filipino moviegoer and can get more of our stories told, and more of our actors hired, in the U.S.
Delete12:51 is your post to provoke everyone to trigger a response or talagang very juvenile ka lang talagang mag isip, walang depth at maturity?
DeleteCongrats Team HLA! Yey!
ReplyDeleteNot questionable, kahit saan puno at pinipilahan.
ReplyDeleteAyos yan!
DeleteSorry but they need to have solo project next. Wag na natin ikulong sina Alden and Kath sa loveteam. We should let them grow.

DeleteFearless forecast feeling ko lalagpas to 1B including international gross
ReplyDelete520 million local gross within 5 days, hindi pa kasama international screening :)
Delete1B in 10 days, sure na. Total gross nito is probably around 1.5B (or more) until matapos.
DeleteTiba tiba ang SC and GMA Pictures nito.
Definitely
DeleteJames Cameron must be shaking in his boots ..

DeleteNapakaganda! Saw it just now. Nakakaiyak!❤️❤️❤️
ReplyDelete๐ฅณ Congratulations Kathden, gma pictures, star cinema! Loved the movie & can’t wait for more collabs to come. ๐
ReplyDeleteAng daming Pinoy n nanood dto s Bay Area. Nanood kami ng family ko last night & we love the movie. Ang galing ng KathDen. Super funny ni Joross. D rin papahuli c Jennica & Val. Congratulations Alden & Kathryn & HLA team!
ReplyDeleteIMHO, it was better than the first one and their portrayal, also more convincing.
ReplyDeletei agree. Hello Love Again has a very realistic approach at ang ganda ng time transition nila.
DeleteHello Love Goodbye was told in a linear approach because the two main characters was in a getting to know stage type of love story.
Wow!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Kathryn & Alden!
Well deserved success! The movie was really good and you were both amazing! ❤️
Filipinos should support and patronize local films first.
ReplyDeleteWow, hopefully it dethrones Rewind sa box office ranking this weekend. That Marian Dingdong movie is so meh I don’t know how it even got that much sa box office.
ReplyDeleteSame! Yung HLG you know kasi na may clamor for it nung nag showing before.
DeleteHmmm yeah true:
Deleteagree thats my goal, for some reason d ako fan nila yon anak ko as since super inggo kaya im happy for kathryn, kaya i promote it s mga kakilala ko dito s US, daming alam din alam abt this movie esp yon d nag TFC or facebbok.
DeleteSame tayo ng hopes and dreams hahahaha
DeleteWatched in Deer Park, IL ..the movie theatre was packed!!!
ReplyDeleteQuantity over quality.
ReplyDeletePag sa US cinema ba may subtitles? For like Americans na baka curious
ReplyDeleteMeron sis
DeleteMay sub title sa Pinas so naturally may subtitle sa International release.
DeleteOpo, meron po.
DeleteExcited nako manood! Was able to reserve last 3 seats sa cineplex toronto with meet and greet on 24th.
ReplyDeletelucky. may meet and greet pa sa Canada.
DeleteNo love team ever has achieved what Alden Richards and Kathryn Bernardo has achieved. NEVER. This love team is the love team of all teams.
ReplyDeleteGuy and pip?
Delete12:14 They have surpassed Guy & Pip. Global scale na ang KathDen eh.
Delete
DeleteHere we go. Another 11 years with a new set of delulus.
DeleteHanggang ngayon loveteam pa din pinaglalaban nyo
Delete11:56 Kung quantity ang usapan panalo talaga. Pero kung pagiging iconic or yung tumatatak bilang actors, waley.
Delete6.23 Just because they do sequel you call them LT agad? And bitter about that? They don't have series together or pretend to be lover. They are just doing sequel after 5 years.
Delete6:23
Is it safe to say that this movie will dethrone DongYan’s Rewind as the Highest Grossing film of all time? We shall see
ReplyDeleteI hope not..
DeleteMarian and Dingdong's movie reached 1 Billion after 1 month (4 weeks).
DeleteHello, Love, Again already reached 670 Million in just 5 days alone (excluding the international ticket sales).
Kaya siguradong sigurado na mababawi na nina Kathryn and Alden yung highest grossing film of all time title na sila rin naman ang may hawak 5 years ago for Hello, Love, Goodbye before Rewind happened last year. ❤️
Sure na
DeleteMalalagpasan talaga 1st week pa lang yan
Delete1.2B Pesos Worldwide is the earnings for Rewind, which was also shown during the Metro Manila Film Fest; wherein movies tend to earn more than usual. Currently, with International earnings, HLA had already reached 700Mil. It's still not completely available in other countries where the opening begins 11/21. So, yah... it will surpass it.
DeleteAwesome! This will be a tough act to follow
Kahit dito sa Pinas pahirapan until now manuod sobrang blockbuster ๐๐๐ Paano pa kaya if official MMFF entry yan baka naka 3B pa yang HLA.
Deletesuper relate mga ofws kay joy marie.
ReplyDeletewala pa UK dyan.kaya malamang aabot eto ng 1B.antay kami sa weekend.marami na akong friends sa US at pinas nag sabi na maganda.so far 1 pa lang na film nagustuhan ko yung anak ni vilma at claudine.the rest okay lang sa taste ko.
ReplyDeletebakit mga pinoy hilig magbilang ng kinita ng movie as if hahatian sila sa kita? lol
ReplyDeleteThey are just happy na finally we are past the pandemic curse. Try mo maging grateful kesa magpaka nega. It feels good to be good to people sometimes.
DeleteWe celebrate wins. You get good karma if you are happy about others success
Delete1:01 I'm sure if it's your idol, hindi ka matutulog kakaabang.
Shakeet.
DeleteAre you for real? Even in Hollywood box office sales are announced publicly .
You must be kidding right? Even in Hollywood they will release their gross.
ReplyDeleteDefine block screening? I’m from Midwest and we bought tickets on our own. You sound so bitter
Deletelol I don’t think uso Ang block screening dito and who can afford that?
Delete1:36 you're not even in the US nor Canada to even assume all those who watched attended a block screening. And if they do, they still paid money for the tickets. Focus on ur idol's career.
Delete10:57 who hurt you? What do you get from bashing your kababayan and calling them “tanga” just because they patronized a filipino movie?
Delete@10:57AM Parang you have so much hate in your heart to rationally see that people don't just give away their money. People work hard to earn their money. So, when they do spend their money on anything... it's because they like it. I think you need to see a doctor. You have some emotional issues.
Delete10.57 you are so mean. You have lot of hatred in your heart.
DeleteEnd na talaga ng Reign ni Bea as the Movie Queen of her Generation, na kay Kath na ang title.
ReplyDeleteMagkaiba nga sila ng generation di ba?
DeleteWala pang solo movie si Kath na malaki kita like pag may ka loveteam or kung kasama si Alden. Matagal din promo nila pag kay Kathryn at joint venture parati abs at gma.
DeleteI want to see Kathryn doing a movie without a famous partner. Something totally different. Her films are just making money due to a famous partner too.
Delete2:45 solo siya sa next movie niya for next year. ๐
Delete2.18 Both Alden and Kathryn lost half of their fans when KN and Alden separate. Accept the fact that Kathryn is loved by the casuals. Do you think 670m in just 5 days all because of their fans?
Delete2.45 Kathryn already did AVGG (dark theme) which is still earn more than 100M and with that gross she was crowned as BOQ last year.
2:45 nakagawa na sya yung movie nya na isa with Dolly yung medyo dark - A Bery Good Girl.
Delete2.45 AVGG grossed more than 100m. Three Words to Forever, Kath as second lead grossed more than 100m. And wait for Elena in 2025, I'm sure it will be (once again) surpass 100m.
Delete2:45 demanding for someone who is just hoping for her to fail! Also, nag Avgg na sya... she won awards for that and a box office queen award aswell.
DeleteWhat about A Very Good Girl? I think di na need. Lahat ng leading ladies dumaan sa love team, from Ms Nora to Ms Vilma, Sharon, Juday, Claudine Bea, etc. Maybe when she’s older Pero wala naman masama kung may ka partner. Di nya need patunayan sarฤฑlฤฑ Nya. She’s up there na :D
DeleteThe tandem to beat! Kathden lang sakalam. Together they’re unstoppable :D
DeleteA very good girl solo siya dun
Delete2:45 but she's the common denominator. Her AVGG made people go back to the theaters after Covid even if it's PG-13 it was still a hit. Dito talaga obvious yung low key hater.
This is the first joint collab between GMA and SC for Kath & Alden. SC lang yung HLG. But do continue hating.
Delete1:50 Magkaiba sila ng time. Bea during her time, at 19 years old BOQ na. Bea also proved many times na independent sya at magaling talaga. Walang sumunod kay Bea sa totoo lang
DeleteIm one of those who watched. Congrats y'all!
ReplyDeleteWas reading Breitbart's box office list and did a double take reading HLA.
ReplyDeleteKorek!! They need to add more cinemas… malayo ang Manchester.. i feel you sis gusto ko din ng feel good movie… sana dito ulit sa vue shepherds bush like sa HLG
DeleteNothing special. Magaling Lang magpromote mga fans
ReplyDeleteTruthfully, the story is a typical story.
DeleteOverhyped.
DeleteFor me lang naman to, it was not overhyped. I don't know what expectations you had when you watched it, but I was satisfied with the movie. I may not have liked the complexity of the story, but I felt that I didn't waste my money watching it in the theaters. There were definitely cliches, but those were to be expected. It's a RomCom.
DeleteWere you expecting no.1? Not sure enough ang ofw community to bring that up and i dont think pinoy movies are really for the general american public's taste.
Delete1:16
DeleteKorek!!!!!!!!!!!
DeleteKasi nga po it's the very first time a Filipino Movie was able to reach that milestone, ever. We are talking about a Foreign territory. It actually reached Top 10! Filipinos feel genuinely proud because it shows how huge Filipino support could be.
ReplyDelete2.4 million dollars in USA is only for 3 days, hindi pa yan 1 week
ReplyDeleteAng daming bitter. Why can’t we just be happy for them? It is a very good movie.
DeleteShowing only in 248 theatres pero naka 2.4m agad. Ibaaaaa
ReplyDeleteWatched this yesterday, pinoys lang ang tao sa sine i mean sa buong sine walang ibang nanood and puno kaya sa front kami. I liked the movie and ang ganda pala ni kathryn bernardo
ReplyDeleteI watched it too from Illinois:) kilig at iyak. Galing nila!
ReplyDelete
