The museum itself selects celebrities for their collection based on their popularity and cultural significance.
The most obvious factor that the museum consider in choosing a celebrity in the region it is located is their popularity. Celebrities who are well-known and have a large fan base are more likely to be included in the collection.
Currently, there are 5 Filipino celebs in Madame Tussauds in Asia. Pia, Catriona, Manny and now Anne's wax statues are displayed in HK while Lea's is in Singapore.

Pwede ba to? She's the most followed pinoy celebrity on Instagram and the only celebrity who sold out concerts in big venues even if she's not a singer..hehe
