DeleteI honestly don't understand why we Pinoys are so addicted to pageants. Lalo na ngayon, ultimo mga owners, walang class. Kahit na yung napaka prestigious na Miss International before, ang cheap na rin dahil dada ng dada yung Pinoy na boss. Like, pwede pa bang ibalik ang dignidad sa mga pageants?

DeleteI think irrelevant na mga pageants, lalo na with social media. Kaya nga binenta na ng mga western owners yung franchise, wala na kasing kita or pakinabang for them.
DeleteNakaka-cheap din ang mga bagong may-ari, alam naman natin na living their childhood fantasies lang ang mga accla.
Pageants have become superficial na kasi nowadays. Gusto raw makainspire at makipagbigay confidence sa iba, pero sila mismo di confident sa sarili kasi kung anu-ano na pinagawa sa katawan at mukha. Then may pa-advocacy pa kuno pero after the pageant missing in action na haha.
Delete12:30 matagal nang superficial ang mga pageants. Ngayon lng nahighlight dahil hndi tlga kaya mapanindigan ng mga bosses and contestant ang pagiging "classy" and nagising na ang mga tao.

Very true. In all fairness to CJ though, she was obviously caught off-guard and I sensed that she felt awkward having been thrown that question. Still, she answered the question the best way she could.
