  1. While he has access to certain privileges including money, being a Marcos, I hope that the fees for Duran Duran were not paid for by public purse but rather himself, his family, or friends. For a country with struggling populace unable to feed themselves, the TF for such an international artist will be enough to feed a poor family of 4 for a lifetime.

    1. If he paid for it, it goes against a ruling that government officials should refrain from lavish lifestyle. If it was a gift from friends that is not allowed by law to accept such very expensive gift for it can be considered bribery. Worse if they used taxpayers' money.

    2. It’s not. Atleast that’s what they say. But TBH. Mas ok ako ng di hamak sa performance niya kesa sa last tatay president, those were craaaazy times nung time nya.

    3. do you how much it cost?

    4. Philippines isn't supposed to be a 3rd world country. Bilyones ang pondo at pinaguusapang budget. We collect taxes by the billions as well. The thing is napunta almost sa bulsa ng iilan. Corruption at its worst

      Delete
    5. 12:13 it was a surprise for him, how would he know beforehand? lahat na lang taxpayer's money ang hanash, eh rich friends talaga, ano magagawa natin.

      Delete
    6. 12:30 true. Any which way, bawal yan. As current president, he and his family should live simple lives. Though that's hard for them to do bec they're the Marcoses and they're used to privilege and sense of entitlement.

    7. Wag kayo magalala lahat may "LOOPHOLE".

    8. 1:29 excuse me but bawal tumanggap ang isang government official ng kahit anong gift whether directly or indirectly check the Constitution. He is the highest government official he should know better at ganyan ka ba ka gullible? Alam mo ba ang tf ng duran duran MINIMUM of 1 million dollars plus air fares, hotel accomodations, venue, etc at yang nagbigay "kuno" if totoo man walang kapalit yan lahat?? 😂 😂 😂

    9. 12:40 minimum appearance fee ng band is $500,000 USD in Pesos thats close to 28million php. Sometimes it goes up to $800k or $1million plus depende sa layo at sa concert type at equipment. Needless to say, the fees for the band is quite high and can pay for bridges, schools, hospitals or send the poor families food and children to school. It can also be used to develop small industries. In this case however, that amount was used for a brief performance to make PBBM happy. Oh the world of the rich...

    10. Happy Birthday Mr. President. Deserve nyo po magenjoy lalo na ur doing good as a president. Thank you po

      Delete
    11. 12:02 so it's a case of who is less evil? POGO controlled by cronies of the other party must be removed so power and money returns to the current party in power. Just a shift, doesn't mean there are no constitutional violations.

An example fee to book Duran Duran is in the starting range of $750,000-$999,998 (p42 M - P55 M.
Tanong ? Sino nagbayad ? Kaibigan daw. Surprised gift. Hmmm. Ano kapalit? Wala ?

    1. HIndi ako maka Marcos, sa totoo lang Aquino ako eversince at Robredo during the last election.

  4. For me personally, I don't see an issue with this as long as he ia doing his job and its not the taxpayers paying for it. And I can see Bongbong is doing a great job so far. Lets not lose focus on the true evil in the country!

      Delete
    12. He is not doing a great job but the way he is handling things is he is flying below the radar. Masyado ding mababa ang expectations sa kanya and to see him survive office this far na walang major controversy is quite surprising. Besides, the way the Dutertes are behaving made BBM a winner by default in the war of public perception. Madami akong kakilala na dating hardcore Leni, but they say at least BBM is not as bad as Duterte. Quiet din sila which walang ground ang criticisms towards BBM if any.

      Delete

I like his decisions para sa Bayan.

    17. I've always been a diehard yellow supporter but I can also see the president is a good decent man. Who wants authoritarianism in our country to replace our Constitutional democracy? One of the greatest acts of presidential power Bongbong Marcos could perform now as president is to fully prosecute and end the evil murderous horrific Duterte rule. And to never allow a Duterte to back in Malacanang!

Set aside our political colors and look at what Bongbong stands for ... democracy, the rule of law, ,education, fighting for our sovereignty against China, jobs, those who need a helping hand and the truth. You might not care for him but he is the backstop against the Philippines turning into a brutal dictatorship!

      The choice is simple, people!
