    4. UPDATE: According to an Army officer who spoke TIMES on condition of anonymity, Pastor Apollo Quiboloy came from somewhere in North Cotabato and moved to Davao passing through the old airport and back at the hangar. He was then brought to Manila through a C-130 plane.

In a chance interview this evening outside the KOJC compound, Atty Dinah Tolentino declined to provide further details regarding the surrender of Pastor Quiboloy.

When asked why Quiboloy was immediately brought to Manila, EastMinCom chief Lt Gen Rex Luis Bergante explained it's for crowd control.

Earlier this afternoon, AFP Chief of Staff Gen Romeo Brawner confirmed to TIMES about receiving a request from the PNP for a C-130 last Sept. 5.

    7. Walang tiwala si Quiboly sa PNP kaya sa AFP sumurrender. Walang namatay, walang na-damaged na private properties, walang nalabag na karapatang- pantao. GOOD JOB AFP!

      Delete
    8. Talagang good job ang PNP 9:35. Gen. Torre gave them ultimatum to surrender kundi papasukin nila ang building na hinahadlangan nilang mapasok ng kapulisan kaya nakipag negotiate sila na sa AFP sila susuko. HINDI SILA (Quiboloy and 4 others) KUSANG SUMUKO! Di sila magi-effort ng ganun kung walang kasiguruhan na nasa compound mga fugitives!

    9. Good job ka dyan ,afp not pnp

I was really hoping na I extradite agad siya sa US at least don mas malaki possibility ng justice para sa mga victims niya. And he is even using God sa mga preaches niya, the hypocrisy.

    2. This is to inform the Filipino People that Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy decided to surrender to the PNP/AFP because he does not want the lawless violence to continue to happen in the KOJC Compound and he could not bear to witness a second longer the sufferings that his flock was experiencing for many days.
Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy was actually waiting for positive results vis-a-vis the legal remedies that his lawyers opted to avail, hence, he was out of reach for a number of days. However, heart-wrenching and mind-boggling events transpired where a warrant of arrest has been turned into a license to convert his beloved KOJC Compound into a police garrison, the sacred KOJC Cathedral being desecrated, the JMC School turned into a mining pit, his followers as recipients of brutalities, one of whom even died, scores injured, many got arbitrarily arrested, vehicles unilaterally confiscated, all of which caused Pastor Apollo Quiboloy’s heart to bleed. Hence, even if he has the right to await the result of the legal remedies being resorted to by his lawyers, he decided to make the ultimate sacrifice by surrendering himself to the PNP and AFP through the valiant and facilitative efforts exerted by Davao del Norte Governor edwin jubahib
      Army Major General Allan Hambala
      Colonel guilbert roy ruiz
      LT. Col. jovily carmel cabading
      Lt. Col. pete malaluan
Lt Col. ricardo garcia, the Honorable Police Officers led by General Romeo Macapaz, Major General Leo Francisco, Colonel Cholijun Caduyac, CIDG Colonel Mike Mangahis, Major Edgardo Bahan, Retired Colonel Emil Zosa and most especially PNP Major General Benjamin Silo Jr. whose character, integrity and honesty convinced Pastor Apollo Quiboloy to submit himself to the folds of the law.
