Those ladies are selling candles in Sto. Niño church. You can buy candles from them and ask them to do a Sinug for you. Sinug is a traditional prayer-dance offered to the Sto. Niño de Cebu.
When I had a huge break up when I was 24, I travelled all-over Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Singapore, Hongkong, Laos (kung saan ang Pinoy passport ay visa on arrival)...meron pang habang nakasakay sa tren papuntang Chiangmai, naiiyak lang akong parang buang. Mga walong buwan ko ring ginawa yun, ikot ng ikot from towns to cities to villages with new cultures. Nakalimutan ko ang heartaches ko. Umuwi, nagbago ang perspective at nagtry bumangon ulit. I tried to pick up my pieces together, stayed safe and went on a spiritual journey. Its really helpful.
