  1. Hmmm… you can tell something rin how rich people treat workers and employees under their companies.

    2. Ako binasa ko 12:52. The writer only assumed that luggages of the other participants were brought by their assistants just because she didn’t saw them at the carousel. I don’t know know the whole story but based from what she wrote, was she trying to say na Sy-Coson didn’t bring along an assistant but the rest of the board did? Or may assistant siya pero hindi nagpatulong? Ang labas nyan, hindi nahiya yung board kay Sy-Coson na sila hinatid ang luggae nila pero yung boss nila, naghintay doon to get her luggae. I mean seriously, ganun kalakas ang loob ng board to act like that with their boss?

    3. Lahat ng comments sinagot mo ah. Dami mong time. Waiting for luggage at the carousel alone is normal no matter what your status is, do not make it look extraordinary. They’re no different than all of us.

    4. Let me share my insight.

TSC is not an ordinary person, not because she rich, but because she runs a conglomerate. Her 'executive' time is too precious. Extraordinary people like her, again not solely becaue she's 'rich', has assistants to do things for her becaue again, her executive time is too precious. So seeing her do her own errand/chore if you will, especially at the age of 74, can be quite a refreshing sight.

  3. Grabe ang pinoy maka elevate sa mga mayayaman, in other countries like the US, ganyan naman talaga mayayaman, they follow the rules by heart, naghihintay ng luggage, ang iba pa nga walang bodyguards, sila lang nagbibitbit nito.

  4. If you travel a lot you will see this in T3. Airport personnel retrieving the luggage of a presumed VIP watching far behind.

  5. Kaya nga. I think what Jose is trying to say is, unassuming siya. Totoo naman. The real rich you can see they’re simple, hindi pala flaunt ng branded items. Kasi they’re secure and they’re comfortable and don’t need to prove anything. For me , this is the real rich. Yong iba, daming guards, tapos crying for attention pa kumbaga. I like them Sys, Zobels, Tantocos

    1. Antih, ganyan nman talaga lahat kapag nasa Airport, nakakaloka. 😂

      Delete
    2. I beg to differ, depende din talaga sa circumstances.

    3. 127 si 1:14 yong reading ko she is giving an example lng naman na tingnan mo mayaman sila and simple. Actually ako i have always been impressed by them ( she mentioned yong mga mayayaman talaga) kasi low key talaga and when i see pictures, tama siya, wala kang makikita na mga logos. And tama ka, definitely may mga bodyguards din sila and branded lahat gamit but you’re missing the point. RICH sila but UNASSUMING. Yon na yon

    4. Last time umuwi ako sa Pinas may mag ina na halata nman na sosyal at mayaman, tapos narinig ko na lang Yung mom pinapagalitan sinigawan at hiniya ang staff ng PAL, kesyo Kaya daw sila nag business class para Daw ganito ganyan ek ek but she was just being impatient I've seen those types mga mukhang matapobre talaga at pinag sisigawan ang status nila.
      .

    5. The Yuchengcos are low key favs din. Naging client namin sila dati. Ang bait pa nila, very mindful and considerate.

      Delete
    6. 1:27 hindi nga flaunting branded items. Maraming brands na walang logo in your face. Ang real rich wear those.

      Delete
    2. 1:24 Pero yung dalawang examples na binigay mo are celebrities. You really can’t compare Gretchen and Sharon to Tessie Sy because mas madaming taong nakakakilala dun sa dalawa. Most of the time celebrities can’t just stay in one place because people would usually create a crowd around them, halting business operations or creating safety issues. I’m not defending Gretchen or Sharon ha, but I think their situations are completely different. Saka I don’t see anything wrong kung may alalay ka as long as you’re treating and paying them right. Mabuti nga yun nagcreate ka ng jobs for people to earn their keep.

    3. Mahirap sa mga celebrities to stay there and wait for their luggages.

    1. Base on a single "humble" picture?

      Delete
    2. 2:05 Nope. The SYs, Gokongweis, TANs, etc. You'll hear a lot of 1st hans experiences na the 2nd generation of these ultra rich (real rich) families are really humble, down to Earth, and modest. Look at her, not a single bling and screaming luxury brand.

    4. Naghome service ako dati sa condo nya (I drew her blood for laboratory tests) at ang bait bait nya, binigyan ako ng P500 na tip, that was around 2007 ata. At that time, hindi ko alam na anak pala sya ni Henry Sy. 😬

    1. It's really none of our business how they spend their money at least nakapag bigay sila ng work sa alalay. I'd have an issue if they're treating people around them harshly

    3. Diba? Nakakaloka. Nakakahiya na pala yan. 😂

  10. For me it doesn’t matter kung meron mga wealthy people na meron mga helpers kahit san sila magpunta as long as hindi public servant na alam naman natin saan galing ang money nila

  12. Actually kahit daw yung matandang SY known sa pagiging low profile. Kahit daw sa pagsusuot ng mga damit. You wouldn't know it's him coz he really blends unless you're familiar with the old man.

  17. If he's trying to throw shade at "privileged" people who can't even do this basic chore sa airport, then I support his post fully. Regardless of social status, ganyan naman talaga dapat.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I love that it's 2024 and we still praise the privileged for doing the bare minimum. They're people just like everyone else, what basic thing they do doesn't have to warrant surprise. We'd be a better society if we don't hold the rich, politicians, artistas, "influencers" up in pedestals too much.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I don’t really care whether someone is rich or not. Why do you see/treat them so special lalo dyan s pinas na para bang lahat ng kilos nila eh napaka amazing. This is normal behavior.
