    2. Hindi nila kasalanan na afford nila yan. Pero yung isa kasi nagpapaka-pobreng image to garner followers sabay lustay kyeme. Disconnected ang marketed image sa real life rich kid lifestyle, so ayan, na-bash nang bongga.

Next time, select what you post.

Comprehension please! Mostly po ang sabi ko. Not all. Gets?

Masyadong matapobre yung sinabi mo at mapagmataas. Sinabi mo mostly so ibig sabihin karamihan ang tinutukoy mo.

So stop mo na yang pagpapawoke mo. Youre not helping yourself.

Nakakaumay na tong rich vs poor. Oo 3rd world tayo kasi andami daming mahihirap dito.

    ReplyDelete
  10. My take on this issue, wala tayong pake kung pano nila gusto gastusin pera nila. The social media flex of their bill may be distasteful and cringey, but at the end of the day, pera nila yan at wala tayong karapatan to dictate what they should do with their money. Like don’t flaunt your privileges in life kasi kawawa mga mahihirap, o nakakahiya sa mga mahihirap.

It seems very classless, petty and immature to be revealing your bill to the whole world. If you want to eat and treat yourself somewhere expensive then go do it without needing to make a big fuss of how much it is you are paying for. What’s the motivation? Obviously attention, and the parents of these teenagers should definitely call them out of this kind of unprincipled behavior. If you don’t want negative attention, be demure and be mindful of how you behave and post on social media. πŸ˜‚ Ayan tuloy todo defend siya when in fact she shouldn’t have to, if only she just enjoyed the time with her friends without the bill reveal.

  26. Good job explaining! That's a form of bullying too.

Pera nila yon unless nakaw sa gobyerno or galing sa illegal then yeah public can make a comment and can be very vocal and mad about it like the pogo issue. Other than that, wala tayo karapatan magdikta. Also, karapatan nila enjoyin pera nila pinagpaguran nila yon or ng magulang nila. If you have money, you have all the right to enjoy it but be prudent enough to handle it with good etiquette, protect your image by not flexing it for needless attention.

  45. For those who are defending this out of touch classless behavior, question lang. Imagine your child behaving like these teenagers did on the video, as a parent would you be proud of them? Is it okay to appear like the pa-cool socialites, do bill reveals and using their platform to influence more kids watching them to think that this behavior is okay, acceptable and can be done like normal? Would you let this behavior slip or would you do the needful and rather have a word with your child to call this behavior out, give them the lesson of character development and save them from more future embarrassing dilemmas one day? She may be articulate but being articulate when you are trying to make the wrong sound right is not a measure of good morals and values. Shame!

    1. 100%!!! Another thing is her response is so unrepentant and in fact combatant, that It’s clear she doesn’t seem to grasp the big picture. All she knows is that it’s their money and mind your own business!

Plus, she goes into the “whatabout” defense as if her critics can’t call her out AND also call out politicians who are the true cause of worsening poverty in the PH.

Lastly, she keeps on referring to herself as a teenager which clearly is meant to turn the table around to make it appear that she, a teenager, is being bullied by adults.

She flexes how fortunate she is. Manila has been the worst of all cities in the Phippines. We don’t blame her. We blame her elders.

  63. To this Atienza child:
It is the gross display that rubbed people the wrong way. It is not because you are rich. It is your obtuse display of opulence, the lack of regard that your audience really comes from a developing country that even a measly 4k pesos is already expensive for rent.

The names you gave won’t display their bill like that. It is one thing to have designer clothes, it is another to display that you paid 9k for Coke Zero and 100K + for just appetizers. When 200 pesos for a meal can be deemed too much for your countrymen.

It is a display of a gross lifestyle and seeming indifference to the people's struggles during a financial crisis, food insecurity, and political upheaval. Funny, also a lot of the names you gave came from humble beginnings. none that I know ever displayed their extravagant restaurant bills for the jokez and the desperate content.

This girl is all over my tiktok, she is young and continuously pushes herself as some woke queen. And yet cannot even decipher her lack of awareness of her own surroundings. Go back to just explaining why you cannot speak Tagalog even tho you lived in the PH your entire life.

signed someone who did not grow up in the Philippines but knows better than to display my bill like that.

    ReplyDelete
  64. she keeps ranting that people are blaming her for the wealth disparity…. not realizing that the mere opulent display of a P100k bill for a bunch of appetizers is why she is becoming that symbol of that wealth disparity. like kid, naghihirap mga tao kumain. yun ang audience mo na hinayang na hinayang magbayad ng 500 pesos for a meal. that is the country’s state. she should know better since she did come from a political family.

she keeps making content pretending she is from the Hamptons and her audience is also from the Hamptons. she chose to put herself out there and when people call her out… she always chooses to be a victim with no point of self reflection. like come on, matalino ka naman. I wanna go, all that money in the world should be able to buy self reflection.

    ReplyDelete
  65. My gosh! Ano naman kung kumain sa mamahaling restaurant. Agree with her. Pls call out politicians with lavish lifestyles instead. Presidente nga natin may Duran Duran pa nung bday. Kahit sabihin gift yun, it is still wrong. Ang kaya lang i-bash regular citizens. Tsk tsk tsk………..
