I think it doesnt matter what type of cancer mas mataas lng cguro chances on certain types of cancer to hit you if you have a close kin who had it, but so long as theres someone in the family who has cancer theres a huge probability it will hit you no matter what you do, if youre passed on that cancer genes, theres nothing much you can do really, you can only delay its onset but it would eventually show up, so if it runs in the blood might as well just live your life to the fullest, its not even about having a good life- its more on loving more, giving more than the bare minimum, doing the best you can on whatever circumstances youre in so in the end there are no what ifs no regrets

We are still so far from knowing the cause of cancer and how to really recover from it. Yung mga in remission usually for a while lang then meron na ulit and worse, minsan terminal na. Have so many people in my circle doing chemo/ in remission hoping to extend their life a bit more. Sad and painful reality, wala talagang cure.
Not exactly correct na walang cure dahil may mga success stories din naman ng mga cancer survivors. Siguro depende sa maraming factors, anong type, anong stage ng cancer, yun tao ba maraming pera o wala, magaling ba yun doktor etc.
The location is so unfortunate. A lot of consultants in different specialities would think twice bago yan tanggalin kung sakali mang pwedeng tanggalin. I sincerely hope he recovers from it. He is such a good person.

ReplyDeleteNakaka sad din kahit doctor na hindi pa din ligtas sa sakit. I think nasa katawan na talaga ng tao kung magkakasakit tayo o hindi kahit pa magpaka healthy tayo pag magkakasakit, di na din maiiwasan. Auntie ko organic lahat kinakain, hindi abuso sa katawan, nag eexercise din pero nagka cancer din sya.

DeleteI think it doesnt matter what type of cancer mas mataas lng cguro chances on certain types of cancer to hit you if you have a close kin who had it, but so long as theres someone in the family who has cancer theres a huge probability it will hit you no matter what you do, if youre passed on that cancer genes, theres nothing much you can do really, you can only delay its onset but it would eventually show up, so if it runs in the blood might as well just live your life to the fullest, its not even about having a good life- its more on loving more, giving more than the bare minimum, doing the best you can on whatever circumstances youre in so in the end there are no what ifs no regrets

DeleteNo mali ka. Wala pang napapatunayan ng association ng cancer sa stress. Yes pag stress ka hindi mo naalagaan ang health mo. Pero marami din chance na kahit hindi ka stress hindi binabantayan ng tao ang health nya. Ni hindi natin kasama 24x7 si Doc. Ano bang alam natin kung pinapractice nya yung pinipreach nya.

ReplyDeleteWe are still so far from knowing the cause of cancer and how to really recover from it. Yung mga in remission usually for a while lang then meron na ulit and worse, minsan terminal na. Have so many people in my circle doing chemo/ in remission hoping to extend their life a bit more. Sad and painful reality, wala talagang cure.
ReplyDeleteNot exactly correct na walang cure dahil may mga success stories din naman ng mga cancer survivors. Siguro depende sa maraming factors, anong type, anong stage ng cancer, yun tao ba maraming pera o wala, magaling ba yun doktor etc.
DeleteThe location is so unfortunate. A lot of consultants in different specialities would think twice bago yan tanggalin kung sakali mang pwedeng tanggalin. I sincerely hope he recovers from it. He is such a good person.
ReplyDeletemy mom had the same kind of cancer - sarcoma — hers was a rare kind. After the surgery, we decided to do chemotherapy. She has been cancer free for more than 10 years now. :)

When I was diagnosed Ng breast cancer, ewan ko bakit bigla nalang pumasok sa isip ko ang PHILIPPIANS 4:6-7, nagdasal, nagoapasalamat, humingi na bigyan ako ng best cancer specialist sinikrito ko sa nanay, sa mga Kapatid ko na may cancer ako. MIRACLE; throughout my treatment and until these days kahit may isa pa akong cancer.Ang nakaktawa yung friend ko yung umiyak, sabi mi friend para kang walang cancer. Ibinigay ko kasi sa kanya. Sabi ko kay LORD, hindi ko kayang lumaban, there’s no way I will win these battles kaya ibigay ko sayo and I asked Him to let me enjoy life, at peace ako. Pinamamadali ako ng doctor mag chemo pero I refused na. To make the story short 7yrs na along breast cancer free and 3yrs endometrial cancer free. And that's because of JESUS.
