  1. It doesn't add up. Bakit ihhold ng customs eh articles of clothing lang? And if these were properly declared, irrelease naman siguro and baka nga mabilisan pa pag release kasi Olympics tas sila pa host.
And patapos na Olympics, wala ba silang contingency plan during the weeks leading up to the event?
    I'm not buying this explanation.

    1. Ha?! Wag mamaru kung walang alam. I worked with a courier company and countries have different customs procedure and requirements. So their explanation really made sense. Possible talaga.

      Delete
    5. ISOLATED CASE DAW. I HOPE OTHER ATHLETES WILL SPEAK UP AGAINST POC!

      Delete
    6. Exactly 1:21. And to think they're one of the last events. Napaka flimsy ng reasoning nila.

    7. Palusot Susme

    1. Alam na san napunta ang millions of budget. Ang tanong nalang e kanino?

IOC? Sus. As if naman kawanggawa lang yan.

Sponsor sponsor kuno. As if naman di free publicity sa Adidas yan

    4. Sus kung naka gold mga yan they won’t complain

  5. The athletes deserve better. Distracted sila sa kapalpakan ng committee in charge of this. kinalampag niyo sana ang Adidas to fulfill promise kasi most of Team Philippines' athletes sa second week nag laro.

    2. Admin agad ang sisi 1:48? Kaya nga may mga Secs, Usecs and other bureaus to assist the president. Iisa lang ba tao sa gobyerno?

      Delete

  6. 1 month prior to competition dapat ready na uniforms nila. Tshirt lang yan at dalawa lang sila. Dami pang excuses parang gusto pa blame yung athletes like they prefer to use their own - tse! Puro lang kayo palusot, jan lang kayo magaling!

it happens, nade decline for certain reasons...

bakit napaka gahol nyo sa oras?

  9. FYI for everyone commenting here, POC is a private institution and it survives on donations and meager government support.

    1. Palusot dot com. Kung Hindi mo kaya trabaho, OUT. Huwag irason ang "meager government support". Taon ang preparation.

      Delete

  10. But still dapat may plan B Just in case may problema. Tska months before the competition meron na diba sila dapat ipakita diba ? And dapat hinde lang isa ang design kahit mga 3 sana For sure sa 3 meron yan approve and pwede.2 lang sila! Helllooo? Utak po
    Sana utak

  11. if ups, fedex or dhl yan madali lng and no problem ang delivery, baket walang nagbitbit ng mga damit eh sa tagal ng preparation last day ba ni-reject at di na umabot.

  12. If the apparels were held up in customs in Paris, sa dami ng bumuntot at sumabit na alipores ng mga pulitiko, they could have brought extra apparels for the team with them.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Ganito din ang naisip ko. Ang dali lang sana solusyonan nito. Last year FIFA Women’s World Cup dito sa New Zealand, maraming mga politiko pumunta dito, eh di dapat pinadala na lang nila para naman mapakinabangan at makatulong sila kahit sa pagbitbit na lang ng uniform o kaya sa mga family members o friends ng mga athletes na pumunta para sumuporta. I remember nga na ang Finas team may mga kailangan pa from the Philippines pero ng may pumunta sa New Zealand na kakilala ni Mr. Ching (Team Manager ng Finas) ay pinadala sa kanila ang 2 boxes. I know kasi ako mismo ang sumundo sa airport ng nagdala at sa hotel mismo ng Finas team ko sila hinatid bitbit ang 2 boxes plus ang kanilang 2 maleta dahil doon din sila naka-check in. Kung gusto maraming parang.

    2. True.

      Delete
    3. Ayan na nga kasama nila yung Pinoy Ambassador to France di ba nila natawagan ito to help? Aside from the photo op among ginawa ni madam

  13. Sponsored?!

    ReplyDelete
  14. We only have 2 golf representative and simple uniform was not provided on time ?! Golf uniforms are not even complicated to make/order. And if our athletes wins dun lang kayo bigla mag eepal as if may ambag kayo.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Saddened pero not sorry. At the end of the day meron nag kulang.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  17. Kung ano pang reason bakit di nakarating, the question is bakit late? Sa tagal ng nakaplano ng olympics kung whatever reason pa yan na not approved or what bakit hindi ready bago nakalipad sa Paris yung mga athletes. Unreliable lang talaga yang kayo.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Sponsored. Walang budget.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Teka diba 2 lang silang golfer? Ano un ilang pcs ba ung naka courier?

    ReplyDelete
  20. Calling all Filipino designers: Next time we Filipino designers naman ang mag de design ng outfit uniforms

    ReplyDelete
  21. Ang tanong bakit umabot pa ganyan katagal as if hindi naman alam kung sino ipapadalang athletes months prior. Nagpatahi nalang sana sila ano po?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Ha? Dapat weeks before the Olympics ready na ang uniform. How many athletes were sent to Paris so few lang not like some countries that have hundreds including staff. Other countries super ganda pa tapos tayo wala 😳 how can athletes be motivated uniform pa lang waley

    ReplyDelete
  23. Sows, daming sinabi. Ending, wala parin nasuot yung athletes natin.. Dapat may plan B, C, D, E. Kahit simpleng pinoy pupunta sa ibang bansa for vacation, laging handa, may backup plan in case mag ganto or ganayng mangyari.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Bakit nadisapprove yung una?

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  27. Still incompetent kahit anong explanation. It shouldn't have come to this. Kung ano man requirements for uniforms in terms of specs, siguro well in advance naman nasabi para mapagawa. And kung di na approve, should've had plan B or C. Other countries who competed in golf didn't have issues like this. May association yung golf sa Pilipinas (NGAP) and POC. Other designs, had the athletes bring their own uniforms instead of courier, asked for help sa consulate/ambassador etc to help expedite the release of uniforms in the name of the Olympics? I can think of ther solutions if need be. Instead of focusing on the games inaalala pa ng athlete natin kapalpakan ng kinauukulan at wala silang maisuot na maayos na uniform.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Omg Stop with these explanations. And they did not specifically say when exactly the original sketch was sent. And sinabi lang a week before yung revised.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Your best obviously wasn't good enough. You

    ReplyDelete
  30. Sorry but I don't get it. Adidas gear had been used in almost 100 countries during the Olympics, so they usually know the timeline as to design and logistics and stuff. If customs is the problem, anjan naman ang Embassy to coordinate, where is your network? Why let the athletes worry about these when all they need to do is win a medal? What's the PSC doing all these? Partida na ang golf events were held almost two weeks after the opening. Tsk tsk, shame on PSC.

    ReplyDelete
  31. palusot... hahaha! may maisagot lang. umayos kayo POC.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Dense talaga leaders ng Pinas lalo na POC and PSC! Wala akong pake if private or purong government kayo...atletang Pinoy yang binalahura nyo! Resign, chupi!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Nangatwiran pa ang mga hitad!

  34. Mahiya hiya naman kayo sa Adidas!
