Olympian Algerian Boxer Imane Khelif is Not a Transgender, as per IOC

@apnews The International Olympics Committee said Friday that Algerian boxer Imane Khelif was born a woman and eligible to compete in her fight against Italy’s Angela Carini. The IOC’s daily press conference had many questions on Khelif, who has landed in the middle of a culture war about gender in sports after Carini quit Thursday’s fight under a minute into the bout. #Olympics #Paris2024 #Boxing ♬ original sound - The Associated Press

  1. She was born with kipay so she is a woman. Nagparticipate sa Tokyo olympics w/o any issues, in fact ilang beses na din siyang natalo ng kapwa female boxers. Tested with XY chromosomes last year kaya na dinisqualify ng IBA, but IBA is not part of paris olympics. Therefore qualified xa sa paris olympics. If the issue is mas angat ang strength nya bcoz ug xy chromosomes, then how come natalo siya ng ibang female boxers. In short ngdrama lang c Italy.

    1. Check Nancy Navalta. She was a filipino athlete and was disqualified from 1996 Olympics because of the same condition as Imane. She was tested for testosterone and failed it due to high levels. She was later diagnosed Hermaprodite. 🙄

    2. I actually feel bad for her. All her life babae sya since birth. Not her fault kung may xy chormosome ek ek sya. Now na nagkaka name na sya sa field nya, everyone is putting him down. Di lang tlg sya kinaya ni Italy

    1. Sore loser si accla, Carini has quit other fights which ended in crying fits.

It got traction this time thanks to the hateful patron saint of the transphobics, JK Rowling.

    2. Drama ni Italy???? She was hurt, you call that drama? The Olympics is trying to cover up their mistake. Wag magpaniwala agad teh. Lalaki ang DNA nyan.

    3. True. Tas mag aapologize din pala. But beyond her drama, dapat mga taong nag share, naki sakay sa hate mag apologize din.

    4. 6:37 ewan ko sayo. From algeria nga c imane, a muslim country na bawal ang sex change. Mahuhurt tlaga c Italy, boxing yan eh.

    5. 6:37 manahimik ka na bigot. yang source nyo na Russian owned IBA ay banned sa Olympics due to heroin trafficking, corruption and ethical issues. Ipagpilitan nyo pa yang XY Chromosome nyo, Khelif was born a girl, reared as a girl and most importantly, IDENTIFIY as a girl wala kang karapatan diktahan or baguhin ang gender nya.

Do note that Khelif isn't even up there sa rankings. Go figure.

    7. 6:37 it's boxing expect to get hurt

  5. And Italy knew this all along. Italy wasn’t robbed as she claimed, Imane was robbed and humiliated and continues to be.

  6. Mas maraming male chromosones kaso may kiffy dun yata ibinatay ng IOC

    ReplyDelete

  7. On the other hand, IBA will award the money to the italian boxer. iBA and IOC does not have the same opinion on this matter

    1. Okay ka lang. Yung sarili natin woman boxer(out trans talaga sya) si Nesthy Petecio tingnan mo itsu.

      Delete
    3. But you can still see the obvious difference between a female maskuladong boxer VS a male boxer.

  10. Italy will get her karma…what a sad state of affairs for this Algerian female athlete

    1. Truedis.. agad agad ang pangbabash sa last post dito sa FP kahit na paulit ulit na ang comment about her gender.

      Delete
    2. True. Dami talagang di marunong mag fact check and walang critical thinking. Pahiya sila ngayon.

      Delete
But does that clear with the real issue of his gender? Babae ba siya o lalaki? How about yung high level of testosterone niya? Isn't that an advantage for her?

      Delete
    4. 7:08 if it is an advantage for her eh di sana wala siyang talo sa lahat ng mga laban niya. KO lahat. But that's not the case.

This is becaoz of the misinformation nina Rowling at Musk

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
Kaya sa athletics nadidisqualify sila what more kung boxing.

Dapat mag meet in the middle or else mawawalan ng manonood ang olympics

      Delete
  15. What I learned from biology class is females have XX chromosomes and males have XY.

      Delete
    3. Diba? Dati ng bawal ang ganyang may issue. May nadisqualify pa nga na female athlete natin dati dahil may XY chromosome. Hindi nila kasalanan but it is what it is. 🤷🏾‍♀️

      Delete
As per expert, sa ganitong condition the chromesomes is not enough to determine kung male or female.

      Delete
    5. 3:39PM testing XY Chromosomes is not anymore part of their requirements. Thats y they we’re able to fight in Tokyo olympics. IBA is banned in Paris olympics

    6. 2:08 Have you heard about Caster Semenya who was born with a vagina but has a wife and fathered a child?

      Delete
    7. 2:29 is right. Kahit na may condition siya, if true, having XY chromosome and high levels of testosterone would be an unfair advantage.

Unless maglabas ng formal rules about this, like why they were banned by the WBO. Ano yung gender tests na ginawa. Come clean. By the next Olympics dapat malinaw na na or else kawawa atleta. Btw the WBO chief.has openly said male sya based on gender test

    ReplyDelete
  18. I went back to the original FP post about J.K. Rowling's stand. She wasn't even making an issue about the boxer being a transgender, but rather the boxer being "male". And yung mga nag-comment na ka-FP, they weren't even sure na transgender nga. They even asked kung tiboli, lalaki, o trans. The main issue most are pointing it is letting an individual who was found with XY chromosomes and high level of testosterone participate in a fight against a woman.
Or I could be wrong with my understanding.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. 5:29 wrong po kayo in your understanding. It just means may hormone imbalance sila at ang mas common effect nun is ovarian cyst, acne, irregular menstruation, etc. I know kasi mga babae sa family namin are prone to PCOS due to hormone issues.

As for yung XY chromosome daw niya hindi naman mailabas ng IBA yung test kuno na ginawa nila. Very fishy. Tapos known pa sila for corruption and ethics violation kaya kaduda duda, baka fake pa yung results na yon

      Delete
  19. Her features talaga muha kasing male, masculine yung face nya. siguro nga mas dominant yung male hormone-testosterone nya. and higher levels of testosterone kasi increases muscle mass this makes her stronger than her opponent

    ReplyDelete
  20. Yung mga concerned kuno sa womens rights who are very loudly outspoken about this and not a word about that pdf file dutch volleyball player allowed to compete in the olympics 🙄 also surprise surprise - even that genetic test is now being contested kung legit ba.

    ReplyDelete
Paano naman yung ibang issue niya from previous fights? Yung hindi niya pagkakapasa sa gender test? Importanteng pag-usapan ito kasi kapag hinayaan natin na magkaroon sila ng advantage against their opponent, then this could be dangerous for women in sports.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Show us the test that she has XX

    ReplyDelete
  23. Yeah she's not a man, just that her chromosomes are XY and not XX as should be for a woman.
