ReplyDeleteAgree with JK Rowling 100%. No matter how much hormones they take and what surgery they get, they will always be males. They will always be physiologically different from women. To allow them to compete as a women in sports is just wrong. Identifying as a woman does not remove their Y chromosome and the brute strength that comes with it. Their sense of identity is all in in their head but the strength and physiological traits they have will always be MALE.

DeleteYes. Imane was born female, has female genitalia, raised female, identifies as female, passport says female. Algeria does not allow people to change genders. Imane was cleared by IOC to compete in the women's division. The only organization claiming she is not female has been officially un-recognized by the IOC and they won't say what tests they ran only the conclusion they came to.
J.K. Rowling then went around calling Imane male, a cheat, a misogynist, etc. Super irresponsible.

She participated in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and na-eliminate sa quarterfinals. Sa 50+ fights nya in her career, 4 lang ang KOs nya.

Kahit sabihin pa nila na hindi trans yung kalaban dahil daw may dsd or whatever, lalaki pa rin yan kung trans pa yan. Kung trans woman ka, kshit mag-hormones o surgery ka pa LALAKI KA PARIN. ReplyDeleteSome people need to read more news articles before coming to a conclusion about this woman's sex. There is no official declaration or proof that the winner was born as a cisgender male, or official declaration that her vital statistics deem her as a a cisgender male. Biological differences or not, the winner is entitled to compete with women until it is proven that the winner is declared as transgender and has an extraordinary unfair physical advantage that warrants a ban. Where else would the winner compete if she didn't qualify as either man or woman based on her testosterone levels? This female olympian deserves the right to compete because she probably has trained proficiently to justify her win despite the discrimination and politics burdened on her. Sure this is the Olympics and physical characteristics could influence winning or losing, but at the same time, once again Filipinos need to critically think before making assumptions on issues which they have not researched properly.

She was just unfortunately born with a rare genetic disorder pero babae po katawan niya, was raised as a girl, babae and organs, etc. We can debate kung dapat ba dinisqualify na lang siya at hindi na lang pinayagan magcompete.
