Yes, lalo na sa hospitals. Even before the covid pandemic talagang required mag mask sa hospital. You never know kung anong bacteria or virus makuha mo.

I had ruptured appendicitis pero nakapagpic naman to show my brother nasa hospital ako... I used my mobile phone to chat with my family to distract myself from the pain while waiting in the ER to get cleared for operation, since one of the er physician told me to drink water para makaihi for urinalysis... which prolonged the operation for another 40min since bawal na pala uminom kahit ng tubig.. so pwede naman para ma distract siguro sa fear ng oag opera... mas takot ako sa spinal anesthesia kesa sa hiwain ako... hehe
THIS. Same here. As long as not yet INSIDE the OR, ok lang mag selfie. I did same and mine was inside the preparation room (forgot what it was cslled) on my way to my emergency operation. I was in terrible pain that time that no pain reliever helped (super duper pain talaga) but I still managed to smile and laugh then. Yeh, I think that's our nature, humor makes it less painful even in the slightest way.
