12:25 di ka basta basta pwede magloan dito pag kakadating mo pa lang or bago ka dito, you need to build your credit score first before you will be approved for a loan in anything like purchasing a car or buying a home, so not sure where your notion came from, and buying a car here is not a luxury but a necessity, although kaming mag anak hindi bumibili since ok pa naman transportation system, mahirap ang buhay kahit saan, ke sa ibang bansa or sa Pinas, pero by God's grace ok naman basta mag work and magsipag mabubuhay tayong lahat kahit nasaan ka pa
I agree na necessity ang kotse pero you don’t need a brand new car agad agad. Ipon muna bago magyabang lol
12:25 alam mo ba backgrounds nila? Moved to Canada just because, not really para umahon sa hirap.
But I rather works 3 jobs than go back in the Philippines na baha, bagyo at lindo ang palagi nag hihintay sayo bukod pa sa bulok na gobyerno.
In fact one of the requirements kung PR or permanent residence ang apply mo dapat mag proof of funds ka na kaya mo buhayin sarili mo hanggang wala ka makita work at least 5 to 6 months na pondo (house, food etc). Dami dito nag internation students pero ang siste iisa lang ang pang araw araw nila sa kung ano part time job na makukuha nila and that is a wrong mentality and also a wrong plan kaya sinasabi nila mahirap. Dahil kung student ka ang intention mo is mag aral and pinili mo yung ganon pathways ibig sabihin may pera ka dala na kaya mo mabuhay sa foreign country with or without part time job.
One can spend their retirement on hobbies, sports or take care of family members like grandchildren, hatid sundo or babysit. Join a club or org depende sa interests mo. Andaming pwedeng gawin.
Although nabanggit ni HOD mismo kanina that when he approached carlo katigbak and Cory vidanes para magpaalam, they understood and super supportive daw.
Its time na.
11:17 - daming tourist visa nag nag wo-work sa Canada under the table.
I know kasi anak ako ng formerly undocumented. Every phonecall umiiyak nanay ko. Easier visa processing and amnesty nlng sana. Workung naman sila eh. At nagbavayad ng social security.
2:34 agree! Matapobre mga commenters dito. I came here with proper papers too and finally got my citizenship pero alam ko struggles ng mga undocumented.
8:58 they are working sh*t jobs and probably struggle harder on the daily compared to your 9-5. Give them some grace. 2:34 that does not make sense dahil kahit disagree ako sa mga naglolook down sa mga illegal immigrants dito, yung visa processing ay direct consequence ng mga pinoy na nagviviolate ng visa nila, at least in the US. Dahil maraming nagooverstay na pinoy or nagtatrabaho on a tourist visa, lalong humihigpit ang immigration sa mga pinoy compared sa mga counterparts natin na ibang lahi. Lalo ding naooverwhelm yung system dahil sa mga illegals na nagkakaamnesty so lalong bumabagal ang process for the ones who apply through working visas.
Dapat lang dahil madami dito gumastos ng malaki at kung ano ano pang academic exam ang pinag daanan para lang makapasok at makapagwork ng legal sa Canada or US and etc. Tapos sila paawa effect.
Meron silang segment with the chikadorang Tsugi Tsugi at news segment ni Henry.
Canada is having issues with visas. Mukhang maghihigpit na sila. And As long as hindi Liblib na lugar sa Canada ay ok lang like Montreal or Vancouver ay ok lanh.
Andami kayang malalaking City ng Alberta like Calgary and Edmonton na madaming Pinoy and everything at madami kang magagawa at pagkakaabalahan
Henry's family is in Edmonton, Alberta.
Alberta is a killr during winter π₯Ά not for retirement. Dami bumabalik ng pinas or nastay sa province and you can tell mas happy sila pinas. work mo aabutin ng isang oras via train or bus para pumasok. The. Walang options for work puros service crew/janitorial etc.
Have you ever been to Calgary? It seems like you only know about Alberta as a whole, particularly when it comes to the weather, especially winter. The cost of living in Vancouver is very high and they do have beaches, Calgary is surrounded by clean parks, lakes, mountains, and has more disciplined drivers. Vancouver’s roads are also much smaller than Calgary’s.
Alberta is for old age so if you’re still loving a city vibe or exploring, stay in Toronto or Vancouver. Kumbaga laid back ang Alberta kasi Bundok sya.
@1:20am you obviously haven’t seen Vancouver. We have a lot of beaches from YVR to the beaches of Kitsilano, UBC, etc - only to name a few. Don’t forget that Vancouver is in the BEAUTIFUL province of British Columbia where, from Yukon, down to Tsawwasen has loads of lush green mountains, lakes, beaches, etc. Part of the Rockies & Yoho National Park where the famous Emerald Lake is, is also in BC!
Ang saya may hockey, dami events if you just keep yourself updated with the City's happenings. dami mapuntahan during summer. Albera has the highest inter-province migration. madami lumilipat dito from vancouver and toronto.
@6:03am generally maganda ang Canada, preference nlng ng lifestyle kun saan mo gusto. if one prefers the city vibe with nature - BC for me is the best. the more laid back naman is Alberta with the cost of living na medyo mababa, nakaka help sa work-life balance. In anyway, maganda ang Canada. :-)
@6:03 I’ve been to Vancouver, the places you mentioned and other parts of BC - Victoria Island, Whistler, etc. Hence, I commented. I also pointed out that you have beaches. But what I was trying to convey, Alberta is not boring. We have the best of both worlds as well. City life and mountains and lakes. We have beautiful parks too and much cleaner even in the downtown (Calgary). Nothing against Vancouver.
My family lives in Toronto, but we also love Van. Haven't been to Alberta yet.
We’re in Saskatchewan and most filipino people that we know agad sinasabi na boring jan wala magawa jan brutal ang snow jan and so on and so forth but we love it here! Low cost of living kumpara sa other provinces and andito mga basic needs. Simpleng pamumuhay. Kaya talagang kanya kanya. I hate it whenever someone says na pangit jan etc etc boring jan etc etc let the people decide on their own, wag maging toxic. Wag pangunahan.
Please wag na kayo sa Toronto ang dami na namin dito π₯ Yes many are moving to Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan. You can have a big brand new house in Alberta for the price a tinu one bedroom condo in Toronto. Everything very expensive.
Vancouver is beautiful. There is no question about that, Pero tanong mo kung gaano kamahal ang bahay don compare in other province. Montreal is also pretty pero kailangan mo maging bilingual.
If you’re young go to the big cities. Sa TO pa lang daming concerts, broadway shows, Festivals, art exhibitions, meetups, hiking, hundreds of restaus, film fests etc. Enjoy kaya ako dito haha. And yes, obv mas mataas cost of living pero dami rin opportunities plus the diversity!! Do not only seek filipinos when u move abroad. Expand your network.
Madami pala taga π¨π¦ dito. Mga kabayan let’s just welcome him here regardless if he’ll be here for retirement or new job. No need to compare provinces. Canada is a beautiful country.
If you lived on both provinces tsaka ka na magcomment.

If you lived on both provinces tsaka ka na magcomment.
