ReplyDeleteI was raped few years ago, I went to NBI to file a case. Ganyan na ganyan ang tono nila magtanong. I couldn’t answer their questions properly cause I was crying so hard. The agent apologized to me, he said he was just preparing me kasi pag nasa court na, mas malala yung way nila ng pag interrogate.
DeleteIt is your lawyer’s job to prepare you to face the court hindi mga taga NBI. The investigator needs to be thorough pero hindi dapat maging bastos sa pagtatanong na feeling mo you are bring re victimized again, they go through series of class and workshops how to effectively interrogate to get the accused and victims to talk without being insensitive.

I understand kailangan patas sila pero grabe ung pagtatanong and yung tono ng boses. Iba talaga treatment pag mahirap ka and di ka galing sa sikat na pamilya. Sila naman ung nag invite di naman yan pupunta if walang invitation. I hope Gerald doesnt get traumatized for the 2nd time after this. Walang tao esp lalalke na magsasabi na na rape sya ng kapwa lalake for clout or paghihganti lang tigilan natjn yung culture ng victim blaming. Definition of rape is sexual act by force, without consent. The article 266-A are CRITERIA what falls under rape in our Philippine law. So therefore if a 19 year old coerced a 13 year old GF to have sex with him it may not fall under rape by technicality so no laws were broken but it is a rape in the eyes of the parents of the girl .
