    2. Sobrang poor ang security sa BGC. Wala talagang security/pulis na nagroronda dyan. Kapag may nareport na incident, maglalagay sila ng bantay for 1-2 days tapos back to usua na uli na walang bantay.

    3. Walang sense of urdency ang policy na yan.

    6. Nanakawan din ako sa BGC, MC Home Depot. Nagreklamo ako sa MC Home and requested for a CCTV copy. Need pa daw ng police report and madami pa dadaanan. The following day nakita ko na yung mga nawawalang items sa Carousell and Facebook, nakapublic pa binebenta. One item is an LV Wallet and I have details pa from the day I bought since 2 months pa lang sakin. Nandun din lahat ng cards and licenses ko kaya sobrang abala talaga sinc elabat yun nireport ko pa sa bank to block tapos request pa ng duplicates sa LGU. Tumawag ako sa BGC Police station and reported the incident and told them na nakita ko yung item, they told me na magpanggap na buyer just to know yung address and name ng nagbebenta. I also found out na yung husband nya, sa BGC nagtatrabaho.

    1. Agree. Kahit dito sa UK maliit na stores need yun nakasulat and for what purpose. Discretion din nila if trip nila maging matulungin at ibigay n lng without it. Kahit mga bahay dito pag.may camera ka need mo maglagay ng sticker to inform visitors na may cctv sa loob with audio (sa sala or kung saan pwede mgtipon2).. at least yun ung advise sa amin pra pwede gamitin sa court.. sorry, I digress..

    2. Exactly. Evidence yan.

    3. The point is yung policy ngayon is in favor sa mga nang hoholdap at mga magnanakaw. Kklk!

  3. Just like here in the US, the stores and citizens don’t have protection against these thieves. The law is in favor of the criminals that’s why they’re not afraid to steal.

I know dahil na-experience ko ng gawin iyan.

    2. Hindi lahat sa US favors the thieves. I live here in CA and it’s because of Prop 47. New York, Chicago they favor the thieves too. But some states still punishes them.

    3. 12:06 there's a legit a prosecutor who said to let go of thieves because they are "victims of their circumstances" 😭

  7. isnt that because of the privacy law that we have. there are other people in that recording that’s why a police report is needed not a court order.

  11. BGC man yan pero madami na din nangyayari ganyan incident, hindi lang nababalita dahil kino-cover up ng management.

    ReplyDelete
  12. She's right pahirapan naman talaga sa due process but this also happens a lot everyday in every establishment not just to her. Baka kung kailangan magstatement eh every week meron bawat store. That part is unnecessary but sana may easier way irelease ung cctv to the police

    ReplyDelete
  13. Court order is necessary in any country to obtain cctv footages esp in public places even in Europe they wont just give you a copy of that. They need to make sure that it wont be used for illegal purposes and doesnt violate anyone's privacy. We all know she wont be doing anything illegal with it but you cant have exemption of law for celebrities and ordinary or random citizens or minsan mga ibang pulis na loko who might use it for illegal purposes. However, it is good she shared her experience so peole will be reminded to be vigilant coz sometimes nakakalimutan na natin esp sa grocery tapos reputable pa ung name ng mall so one would expect na mahigpit ung security kaya kampante tayo.

    2. Yes. Which is nakakainis.

Wla ba tin magawa. Napakahassle.

Hay pnas walang improvement to think magagaling ang karamihan as you can see sa socmed

  21. BGC is the sosyal version of Quiapo. Been working there since 2016, normal na din chismis sa office yung mga naholdap/nadukutan. And the BGC Marshall/Management is doing everything they can to stop any video recording or any kind of media.

    ReplyDelete

    1. True! Role nila is to stop yung mga nagvivideo kesa to help yung victim.

    2. More like sosyal version ng Cubao kasi mas malimit ang mga kaso ng hold up at pandurukot sa Cubao area kesa Quiapo. Madalas ako sa Cubao and Quiapo and 3 beses na ako nadukutan sa Cubao while sa Quiapo hindi pa.

    1. May due process kasi miss. Anyone can make up stories na victim sila. Kaya kelangan may police request before they give an access. Cctv is more of for the safety of the business owners. They are private companies,
not brgy. Paano kung stalker or killer pala kumukuha nung cctv footage? Kaya dapat may police report muna. Just stay vigilant.
Eh ito kasi nag vvlog vlog pa in public. I’m not victim blaming here pero we are in the Philippines. Even sa Paris France, laganap ang mandurukot.
