6:31 may law na naipasa durong noynoy’s admin na medalists are entitled to cash here in Phili. Carlos should have 10M from the government for his gold.
Haha...
I've been following his journey through news about his competitions (not like nags-stalk ako sa socmed nya) kaya alam ko kung gaano nya pinaghirapan talaga 'to. Deserve na deserve ang gold medal.
Was rooting for him from day one. Nakakaiyak, same feeling I had with Hidilyn. More support from the government please!
Wohooooo.
Naniniwala talaga ako sa mga underdog. Ang dami din nito pinag daanan from asking For Assistance , support and look at him he made it through it all! Dami niya sacrifices pinag daanan
11:44 No. Its not our medal if ever na sya. Lets stop tracing our roots.
First gold for 2024, first gold for a Pinoy Male athlete, first gold (as well as medal - wala pa kasi tayong panalo dito sa sports nato) in Gymnastics ng Pinas. 24 pa lang si Ginoong Carlos Yulo! The future isnso very bright for him and his younger brother na nag cocompete na rin.
Well deserved , nakita ko talaga since 2021 he can get Gold in Olympics; true enough this is the right time says the Lord. Great blessing for the Philippines, he brings honor to the country.
CY is so enough for Philippines to proud of!! And its GOLD! Geeeee here’s to overproud pinoy check!
Mahilig tayo sa ganyan and it’s tacky and embarrassing na. He’s for GB and not Pinas and stop acknowledging him..
So happy at naiyak. Congrats, Carlos!
True. Enough na yung basketball. Never tayo makakasungkit ng medal dyan.
Nakakaiyak to! Super happy for Carlos!
Suportado sya. Nanay nga nya nag encourage sa kanya to study in Tokyo para dun mag train. Lahat din ng younger siblings nya gymnasts. San mo naman nakuha yan.
Ito ang sports like gymnastics na dapat pine-pursue ng mga Filipino because it does not require height. Unlike basketball and swimming, advantage young may height. Congratulations! Well deserved!
Announcing to pledge in the middle of the game(forda clout) while team pinas earned zero bcoz they thought it's impossible, nganga ngayon! Hope they deliver!
Congrats!!! :) :) :) Now, let's see how much money he gets from our dear government :D :D :D Bet you a peso, it will be 1/4 the total pot money ;) ;) ;) Alam mo naman sa penas, penoy doing penoy things again :D :D :D
Ha? He cried tears of joy and clasped his hands together in thanks when the final results were out. Nung natapos naman nya routine nya he raised his fist in the air in triumph coz he nailed his routine. Anong nagmamkaawa pinagsasabi mo.
Anybody can do it! kahit 3rd world country pa tayo! Basta you have the heart, dedication, support from the govt, love from family and friends plus the right training ang discipline- Kayang kaya! Congrats, Carlos!!
The media wrote him off last year when he did badly in Europe. They, including his mother, blamed his girlfriend for him breaking off with his former coach. His mother used his earnings to build a house but not under his name. He went through a lot this year yet he proved himself a true champion by overcoming these obstacles. He deserves the gold.
So proud of Carlos. Totally deserved! I followed his journey since Tokyo. My daughter is a gymnast. I commented online and explained how important it is for a strong support system for every gymnast. People were so vile on him, esp about his gf. Blaming him about giving up his former coach.
Even into World Championships last year, ehen he did not qualify, people keep on bashing and lashing out on him.
So proud of his perseverance, despite all the lashing. I dont know how he handled all of that and still train for Paris qualification. But I was happy when he pursued and got more determined to get to Paris.
Gymnastics is a mental sport. I am so proud of him for inspiring a lot of Filipino to try and learn the sport. I see recent emergence of different gymnastics clubs in Philippines. I am proud of each and every gymnast who is into it. I know Yulo made them dream. He made the sport visible and doable for a lot of the younger Pinoys.
It is a year long sport. No rest. But Filipino's physicality is built for this sport. We have a huge future for this sport. We just need a good program like USAG. Filipinos can dominate this sport.
Again, more than congratulations, I would like to thank Yulo for inspiring the whole country. I hope and pray that you are always healthy and safe and may continue to inspire the little kids to DREAM and work hard.
Congrats
ReplyDeleteOMG HE DID IT! π Congratulations!
DeleteThen he goes back to the Philippines with just a thank you. Sad reality of phil athletes, they end up with no govt support later.
