    2. I agree @12:08. leave the dirty laundry out of this glorious achievement. he deserves all the accolades. Let us not fan the flames of hatred, dealing with family issues is hard enough without having the public putting in their two cents.

  10. CONGRATS!!! Nag-pay off lahat nang hirap nya sa training, tapos may family issues pa pala on the side. Good job, Caloy! Golden boy ka nga ng Pinas!

    ReplyDelete
  11. Siguro naman it’s time to support our players na! Bigyan ng budget for proper training!

    1. Put funding in sports na may fighting chance tayo.

      Delete

      Delete
    3. Basketball in the Philippines should only be for entertainment stop sending them to the Olympics, hanggang Asia pwede pa pero wag yung obvious naman na dehado sa height. We shouldve learned our lesson nung naghost tayo ng world basketball sa Pilipinas.

  47. Note to all parents. You chose to bring kids into this world because you chose to. Not to make a living out of them. Nakakaloka ang ganitong old fashion Filipino mentality. Wag umasa sa mga anak. Let them pursue their passion. Cherry on top nalang kung alagaan kayo pagtanda at wag obligahin or e guilt trip ang mga anak because you chose to be a bum. Caloy not only brought pride in the country but he shed light into the type of abuse that a lot of Filipino kids have gone through from toxic parents that’s been swept under the rug and still a taboo. πŸ‡΅πŸ‡

Your kids will be lucky or if meron na...are lucky! It shows a nature of someone responsible at di pala asa. My mom is the same, that's why now I'm in the age and stage of having a good life, I want to spoil my mom! ☺️

    5. 1:54 thank you yes I am a father of 2. Live in the US…naranasan ko lang kasi yan sa magulang ko na ninormalized ang ganyang pagaabuso sa anak. So I made a promise to myself na never Kong gagawin yan sa mga anak ko. Happy that I found a partner with similar views on raising kids

Good job Caloy! isa kang patunay na hardwork pays off, at the right time. nakaka inspie ka talaga

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. It’s easy to dictate what Paris should do for him, does that mean they should give incentives to other athletes that won gold? Each country should naturally support their own, he will be taken good care of in the Philippines

He should leave them both, for the sake of his mental and financial health 😢

    ReplyDelete
  62. Even the Universe conspired with him! He deserves all the good things happening to him. I hope he'll live a happy and comfortable life surrounded by people who genuinely love him.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Nangharvest lng ng gold si Caloy. Destined to be a legend. Mukhang nag-isa lang sya dyan sa Paris. I think so.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Grabe, naiyak ako when the anthem was played for the 2nd time. You are the KING, indeed, Carlos!!! My heartfelt gratitude to you for bringing the Philippines glories of GOLD!

    ReplyDelete
  65. If I were you, ayusin mo yung sa inyo ng Nanay mo. Mas may breeding at disente.

    ReplyDelete
If sa girl at isa siya distraction i doubt that Edi sana nag liliwaliliw yan , may bisyo travel dun travel dito If he has money. Napabayaan niya ang sarili niya. Mukha naman hinde e… he was doing okay during the olympics hangang makuha ang two gold medals andun ang eagerness , willingness niya kita naman sa katawan niya na inalagaan niya sa sarili niya. Hinde siya distraction more on support system niya si girl pati yung family.
